This item works perfectly for ungrounded generators. Shame we had to buy an extra part just to use our new generator that said it's ready to use straight out of the box.🤔😔

Our small travel trailer uses a Progressive Industries charger and power management system. During a recent three day power outage, we ended up using our trailer in the driveway for cooking and showering, and used its lithium batteries to keep the chest freezer in the garage running. By the end of the first day, I realized that we were going to have to use an older Honda generator to keep the batteries in the trailer charged. But nothing happened. Having never used th generator with a trailer, I didn't realize that the Progressive Industries system relied on a grounded incoming supply. A little searching, and I found that I needed something called a Neutral Ground Plug.Hopped on Amazon, and found a lot of options, almost all from no-name companies with mixed reviews. The last thing I want is for a plug to melt and fry my expensive electronics! Then I found this Hughes Power Watchdog neutral ground plug. This is a company with a fantastic reputation in the RV industry, and I knew it was a product I could trust.Amazon overnight shipping had it there the next morning, and it worked as expected, charging the batteries so our frozen food remained frozen. Thanks Hughes, and thanks Amazon for quick shipping!An unrelated "rest of the story". Midway through the third day, power companies were expecting up to ten days outage in some areas (caused by four confirmed tornados.) I took three empty 20# propane tanks to be refilled so that the generator would be able to run several more days. About 30 minutes after I got home from the propane supplier, our electricity came back on. I guess I'm good on gas for the grill for a while! Some areas did have outages in excess of a week, and at the peak, more than 400,000 people were without power. Fortunately, no lives were lost from the tornados.

Added this to my battery power station that has a floating neutral so I could power my furnace. Works like a charm with my Bluetti unit.

Bought a firmman generator to run on our camping trailer. The Generator had an open neutral plug, which would not work on the trailer, got the plug and it corrected the problem., easy fix.

I used this with my Champion 2500 inverter/generator to cure a floating neutral issue that stopped power from going to my travel trailer. The plug just goes in a normal 20amp plug on the generator. When I tried to pull it out the casing came loose exposing the inner wires. I pushed it back in and continued to use it. Not happy it was that easy to pull apart. Other than that it appears to work as advertised.

Setting up my furnace in case of a power outage to run off my EcoFlow Power Station. It requires it to be neutral Bonded. Plugged a 3-plug outlet into the power station. Then plugged my furnace into one of the 3 plugs and this neutral bonded plug into one of the other plugs and the furnace ran for 2 days with no problems. Without the neutral bond plug the furnace will not stay on. You can make these neutral bonded plugs yourself if you know what you're doing, but if you don't, then be safe. This one will do the job.

I am frustrated that I needed this but grateful that it exists and resolved the issue immediately 100%. No more reversed polarity errors!
