So Good Looking!
Beautiful and well made! I’m so happy with this stainless - it could not be nicer. I ordered 4 setting to make service for 12 and all the extras - hostess servers and cocktail knives, forks, and spoons. All are perfect. These wash extremely well in the dishwasher with no spotting. The weight is perfect, not too light or heavy and easy to grip. The Twist pattern goes well with my rustic modern decor. I’m sure I’ll enjoy this service for many years.

Excellent flatware
Excellent quality and price. I have had some of this flatware for over 20 years. I keep adding to my collection. Heavy, handmade, beautiful and guests notice and comment on it. I have a a complete service set for 30 persons. I use it all year round with guests at my villa.

Beautiful and unusual flatware
This silverware is very very pretty. It’s also very well made and of substantial weight. Rust - I have no clue why anyone would think it could rust - it is made from 18/10 stainless. That’s the best stainless you can get in so far as longevity and stain resistance. I haven’t ever seen a design quite like this - it’s very versatile, and frankly I have taken to using it in place of my sterling silver. It goes great with my china which simply has a silver rim. (Plus it can go in the dishwasher!) I believe you can separately purchase serving pieces. Corrosion can happen with prolonged use of foods that contain chloride. (Like salt) if you like to leave your silverware soaking too long if it’s dirty you can cause stains. Just use common sense. Lightly rinse if need be before you toss in dishwasher. Don’t clean with abrasive substances. Don’t pile it in the dishwasher touching silver plate or aluminum - it’s science - you’ll get marks. The pieces are large - you may not want this if you little ones with tiny hands.Overall I would rate this in my top 2 styles of silverware I have purchased over the years. It really is beautiful.

Old sea bass says....
After extensive reviews of flatware in this price range, I took a chance on this set. Many reviews had said flatware began to rust which I find completely not acceptable. This one according to reviews for the most part said it does not happen. One person says the knives were not sharp...Are you kidding me? These things will cut steak and that's pretty good for a flatware knife in this price range, although I will be buying Global steak knives soon as I am particular about my steak knives, and Global is as good as Shun for a lower cost. Anyway, the heft in these pieces is perfect. I like heft. In addition, the sizing of each piece is slightly on the larger size which I tend to prefer. I find the design unique, and did note that to many complaints existed for the other set with the musical staff curl at the bottom. That is rust happened to some people, and I do not do rust. While I expect this can stand up to a dish washer, I hand wash all my flatware anyway. It is shiny and keeps that shine, and is not obnoxious in the shine. I love the semi rustic design and it works with my Le-Creuset stone ware plate settings. The photo of this product is accurate. I received this item well packaged (Amazon has greatly improved in this area ), and did get the product a few days earlier than anticipated. I say buy it if you like the design and enjoy heft and rustic. However, although this is quality, it is not designed to use the spoon to scoop frozen ice cream for you risk bending. Buy a ice cream scoop for that, or spend 200 on 80/10 Nordic style 20 piece flatware set or 50 dollars for a four piece highest quality set; the price of the G.Settings Silver Tear 20 piece set- it is a fine buy and will last, the price is right! One thing though, back of these items is stamped 80/10 but I would still suspect a possible bend with frozen ice cream, and this is why God made ice cream scoops! Again, knife had edge!

Just gorgeous!
I’m in love with this pattern. When I saw it on Amazon I just had to have it even though I had just bought a cheaper set elsewhere. I had seen this pattern years ago at a pricey kitchen gourmet shop. I think it was made by Dansk. But 1 place setting was more than I paid for 2 complete sets! I honestly wouldn’t know the difference! This set is just as weighty and well crafted. I highly recommend this item it will not disappoint!

One of these kids is doing their own thing!!
This is my third set of this flatware. I love the heaviness of it. I love the way it feels, and the carousel design is very unique and my favorite part. So it was to my surprise when I discovered that my teaspoon was a completely different style. If I am being candid, I have seen this design multiple times and always admired it from afar but never purchased it. Now that I have the teaspoon, I would honestly like the complete set. Regardless of how much I appreciate the design, that is not what I ordered, and my carousel set is incomplete. That’s why this received four stars. Aside from that mixup, this is fantastic flatware that deserves five stars!

Beautiful Silverware!
For beauty and durability the best stainless to buy is 18/10 - Stainless flatware comes in three options: 18/10, 18/8 and 18/0.The first number (18) represents the amount of chromium (rust resistance). The second number (10) represents how much nickel is present in the silverware, and the more nickel, the better the luster.18/10 silverware generally looks beautiful, has a great weight, great durability, and stands out from the crowd. It also holds up well over the years.Silverware that is 18/8/0 and 18/0 is lower quality and has far less nickle with little luster and looks dingy and worn over time. Nickel is expensive so you will find this type of silverware in WalMarts, Target, Drug Stores, etc.Years ago I purchased a set of 12 silverware made by the same company that makes this set. It was lost in moving somehow and getting a replacement from replacement.com was not affordable ($39.99 for 1 fork!) Last week I ordered two sets of the Silver Tear flatware so I now have service for 8. They are as well made and beautiful as my previous ones and are a great price for such quality, so if you want really nice silverware, buy 18/10. Five Stars.
