Not such a good buy - check the specs before buying
This item was defective and is not recording any video footage at all. I reached out to Sannce customer support/tech support and they were unable to troubleshoot the issue. Sannce tech support is slow to respond to issues. I spent countless hours trying to see if the issue was with the software without any success. This is a manufacturer's hardware defective issue. Sannce uses email to provide tech assistance so by the time I realized that this was a hardware issue it took just over about a month. Then after I realized that I had to return this item Amazon said it's past return deadline. What a shock! I had to continuously explained to Amazon that this item was defective. Then they finally agreed to initiated the return. I had purchased an extra 2 years insurance via Asurion which I am trying to get a return for. I lost all confidence on this brand SANNCE.

It works better than expected
I had an old system that never really worked online although it claimed it did. I had to reset it everytime I wanted to view remotely, which defeats the purpose. Finally that one broke, so I searched for a DVR so I didn't have to replace my cameras. This one was quite affordable. It worked with the existing cameras and I can view remotely although it's a little hit or miss sometimes. My main gripe is, in the system, in the directions, on the box the English is weird and doesn't make any sense. Clearly a bad translation. It made set up way more difficult. It has a default name and password for the system so you can sign in remotely. That's cool, so no one could steal it and use it because they don't know the sign in. However, the default sign in is listed 3 times with 3 different default names and passwords. I believe they meant for them to be examples of what you may use, but it was poorly translated. After getting it wrong like 3 times, I finally got signed in and updated the name and password. The system only gives you 5 times to get it right, I don't want to know what happens if you keep trying the wrong one by accident.

Not all requirements listed. Only works with Lower Quality Cameras
I was gifted A Security Camera set (Including 4 HDCVI cameras), and all that was missing was a DVR, so looking at all the specs listed online, this seemed like a great and cheap fit.Got the DVR and tried connecting it all but the Cameras were not displaying any images. Checked the manual and went online, couldnt find any decent troubleshooting guide. Asked a Computer Science friend and they couldnt figure it out either. Eventually emailed their tech support, and they responded quickly enough saying the following:Here are some compatible requirements for the DVR for your reference:The camera's resolution can not be higher than 2MP.The camera should support the Onvif protocol and the H.264.My cameras were rated at 5MP, so I now needed to buy worse cameras. Before purchasing the new cameras I emailed their tech support asking if the new cameras should work, and I got the following:In theory, the camera should be compatible with the DVR. But as we don't test it before, we can not 100% make sure that they are compatible in practice.I got the new cameras (ZOSI 2.0MP HD 1080p 1920TVL Security Camera Outdoor Indoor (Hybrid 4-in-1 HD-CVI/TVI/AHD/960H Analog CVBS),36PCS LEDs,120ft IR Night Vision,105° View Angle Surveillance CCTV Bullet Camera) and they work. The lower quality is apparent, and if I could do it over I would have just gotten a better DVR to accommodate my better cameras.All-in-all, Would have been nice to see ALL of the requirements ahead of time, but the DVR works, and while their manual and online guides were of no help, their support answered quickly with the best they could. So 3 stars.

DO NOT PURCHASE
This product worked fine in the beginning then it started giving false alarms every few seconds all day long. Customer is no help at all. Henry the rep had the nerve to tell me the wind can cause those false notifications. I told him I didn't know wind was visible. It is supposed to detect moving objects and humans. Side note: After this review may issue was taking care of.
