2nd mouse: Quality has dropped
In terms of shape, intuitiveness, ergonomics - this mouse is GREAT. I have a lot of carpal/wrist/muscle issues and this is one of the only mice I can use anymore all day long without feeling pain and allowing me to move more - also better for shoulders.HOWEVER, the first mouse I got from them lasted several years and I took it everywhere - wherever work went. Never had to clean it, never had issues until the end where it got wonky - not responding well with inconsistent response and speed. Nothing worked. Fair enough. Everything gets tired. So I bought another one to replace it with only a few months ago and it's been wonky from the get-go. VERY disappointed with the quality. This one "behaved" intermittently OK just long enough to not be able to return it anymore. Now, it has the same problems as if it were years old and very used - maybe they shipped me a reject - who knows.I changed batteries, removed the ball to clean, and nothing. I notice the battery always shifts out of its place in the battery compartment (bad design) so I added a spacer and that did nothing either.2 months in, and it functions absolutely inconsistently (which is pretty much useless if you're trying to work and have deadlines) and therefore really frustrating. If you buy, make sure to return ASAP if it seems a bit "off."I'd pay more for better quality and functionality that's actually reliable. :(*WOULD LOVE A REPLACEMENT that works properly*UPDATE: the scrolling wheel started not working right a few months ago now. Kind of a PitA when working on document all day, scrolling is quite important. Scrolling only goes so far before it jerks and scrolls the opposite direction for no reason. I've tried cleaning it out with air pressure in case there's dust in there. I feel these more recent versions are meant to be disposable. :(

High hopes dashed
I am a writer and my fingers get very sore, especially the joints of my 'mouse' clicker finger. I've tried a few ergonomic mice and they were uncomfortable in my small hands. This device does fit snuggly into the hand, the clicker is inside a finger hole, so it's like pulling a trigger. There is a rollerball that you use with your thumb to navigate around pages and the thumb again is used for the scroller which is behind the rollerball. While I had high hopes for this design, it actually made things worse for me. The extra workout my thumb was getting using the rollerball and scroller put extra pressure on my wrist which began to hurt... increasing carpal tunnel pain. So...unfortunatly although this is a handy device it is not for me.

desk free mouse
This has helped with my shoulder pain as I can stand with my hands behind my back and use it, or with my hand rested in my lap, not having to reach forward to the desk mouse. The tiny button opposite the left click trigger is a DPI switch - (this stands for "dots per linear inch"), it alters the precision/sensitivity of the mouse. Depress it once and a green light appears behind the scroll wheel, depress it twice and a red light appears, depress it three times and both lights appear. Each setting alters the precision/sensitivity settings to the one you prefer.

Brilliant little gadget
Works perfectly at 3m, comfortable to use, ideal if you suffer wrist ache from prolonged mouse use.Very responsive and accurate with an intuitive design, I'm surprised the big boys haven't already copied this.I use at home but imagine it's perfect for travelling, and for presentations. My only criticism is that it takes aaa batteries (included) - USB charging would have been far preferable, and the plastic feels a bit cheap, but still I'd give it 9 out of 10

An overall good mouse
I started having bad pain in my right hand and wrist - this was the only mouse that didn't cause it to flair up during use. It allowed me to have my arm and wrist in whatever more natural, relaxed position I wanted to rest it in.However, the click of the buttons is far too loud, and as a result I'll probably only use it when my regular upright mouse is too painful to use for the day. I share a working space with others and this would be quite irritating for others to endure.
