So I purchased this as I wanted to paint the detailed parts in an Airfix Spitfire kit.The glass magnification is perfect for me.You have to assemble the assembly and it uses little clamps.However, I have found that the clamps do need to be extremely tight but do come loose after some movement, but for me I am just painting with enamel paints and tiny brushes so it does the job.I'm certain a spring washer for tension would resolve it.

Good price, good, delivery, unfortunately slight poor quality but still usable.

This product is excellent value for money and does the job really well and is easy to assemble and use .

Fiddly to assemble, too small, unstable once assembled, flimsy, lack of overall item measurements in the product description, if you want it to be stable- you have to tight the butterfly nuts REALLY tight, down to the bending them.All in all... you get what you paid for. As they say: pay peanuts, get monkeys. My mistake.Only buy it if you are in the hoby craft type of thing.

Magnifying glass is great. Cheap n cheerful otherwise - twisting the grips is fiddly. Clips nice and strong. Good for what I needed but not the highest quality. You get what you pay for.
