Doheny's Cascade Fountain

I love the fountain. I purchased it because I read somewhere that if you have a low pH and high alkalinity, you can bring down the alkalinity by introducing air to the pool. I'm not sure that is right, but I love the fountain anyway. It attached easily to the in-ground pool return line and the spray looks just like the picture. It would attach easily to any return line that is 12" or less from the surface. If your return line is further under the water, I believe you could substitute a longer 3/4" PVC pipe than the one provided. The fountain uses compression fittings, so nothing is glued. The amount of water that sprays is a function of pump pressure. I have a variable speed pump, and it throws about 15' on high and 4' on low. I also have 2 other pool return lines operating at the same time. The fountain has a simple fitting that allow you to turn down the fountain if it sprays too far, by a simple adjustment that bypasses water from the fountain to the fitting at the pool wall.

Does work like it says but is not very pleasing to look at on the side of your pool .. cheap looking ..

Our old fountain had slowly dribbled to a trickle so decided to replace. Good quality about 12’ arc. The rainfall brings such a sense off calm to our backyard retreat,

Everyone loves it when they come over to swim. Looks real pretty and sounds relaxing.

Great addition to pool

This is as easy to install as they say and is a good value for the money. We tried other fountains and couldn't get them to produce much of a spray -- this one looks exactly as pictured and is a fun addition to the pool without having to add a permanent fixture. Thinking of getting a second fountain to connect to the other return.

Fountain is 1 1/2" pipe and my return jet is 1 1/2" pipe. Item did not come with any adapter to attach. I had to fabricate to make it work.
