Perfect for my electric Razor
I've been using the same Norelco electric razor for more than 20 years. These blades are perfect for replacing your dull, lifeless blades. Recommend once a year. But if you keep them cleaned on a regular basis, they'll last even longer.

Poor shaving results and very expensive
I bought my Philips PT920 shaver after my much loved Philishave 8890's battery stopped taking a charge, and have bought several replacement sets of blades since. When I first bought the PT920 I thought, "Ooh, triple track blades! That should be quicker and smoother than the old single tracked 8890". Wrong! The PT920's blades just cannot cope with longer hairs (I don't shave every day), and instead of cutting down to the skin, they just take a tiny bit off the top of the beard with each pass, so I'm having to go over the same bit of my chin several times to get a close shave, and this causes bad razor burn. Even with daily shaving, it's a slow process. The replacement blades are so expensive, too, so I make them last a lot longer than recommended, but old, worn ones actually cut a little better than new ones. If I have a holiday beard, I go back to the 8890 and use it plugged in, as it's more effective, even with 10+ year old single track blades installed. I have used Philips rotary shavers all my adult life, and used to recommend them to friends, but these triple track blades have never worked well, so I can't see myself recommending them in future

Caution
I have purchased these blades in the past and found them to be very good. However, they seem to have changed the manufacturer with the result (as noted by other reviewers) some of the blades are shorter than they used to be. This time I was unfortunate and got a set of the shorter blades with the result that my razor stopped giving me a close shave and instead simply shortened the stubble. When I contacted the seller they were very good in offering a refund, but would rather they had done some basic up-front checks on the quality of their products.

There's no need to pay this much
Philips... I'm a big fan, have always bought Philishave throughout my adulthood. As mentioned before, I believe in getting what you pay for and tend to buy the manufacturer's over non-branded, usually. Printer cartridges are my best example of this. I have the most expensive of the Philips electric shavers available so, of course, their replacement parts are expected to be a little more costly. But since buying this product, I gambled on buying a non-branded generic alternative from this site, and it works just fine. It was also half the price.

You get what you pay for
I ordered these replacement cutters because they were half the price of some I'd seen elsewhere on the internet but I didn't realise that they were pattern cutters and not Philips own brand. To be fair they came in less than a fortnight when it had been indicated that they would take a month to be delivered. However they only pulled the skin and didn't cut my stubble at all. I took them out and put back the worn ones and they cut better than the replacements. I reported them as faulty the next day but it was some time before I got any sort of response from the supplier. When I tried to File a Claim on the Amazon web site, it wouldn't let me do that until after the date the cutters were due to arrive although I had already reported the fault. When the supplier did reply to me, to be fair they only asked what the fault was and when I explained, they did reply by return and agreed to refund me which was done within the indicated time so at least I wasn't out of pocket!

Product unavailable from Philips
Product arrived in non-Philips box. Put them in shaver and they did not give a close shave at all. Removed the blades and examined the cutting surface of the new blades. The surfaces were tiny - even smaller than on the ones being replaced. These are either used blades cleaned ultrasonically or remanufactured with tiny blade surfaces. I would suggest the former. They originated from a manufacturer in China. On investigating with Philips it appears these particular blades are no longer available from them. I am awaiting Philips coming back to me with a compatible blade. Returned to UK seller and refunded by Amazon.
