These 22 tracks alone make this set worth the purchase for any fan of Michael Jackson. It's surprising that these demos and completed songs were never released until this came out. I'd love to hear alot more of Michael Jackson's unreleased music. This is the best collection I have ever purchased.No matter if you only have one or two MJ CDs, are a big fan or just discovered this man's talent, this is the set you should buy. Sony did an great job with this. I am excited to hear more of Micheal's unreleased demo songs. :)

Really enjoyed listening to the collection.

I'm only a casual listener of Michael Jackson so I thought buying this Ultimate Collection would be a great place to start listening to the body of his work. This is an excellent compilation of MJ's work. From his work with the Jackson 5 to his global reaching solo work. Add in a fantastic DVD of one of his concerts in Bucharest and this is one heckuva great listening package. A must have for any MJ fan.

Good dance songs live forever.

I'm someone who thinks that if you truly like and respect an artist then you have to buy his or her studio albums and not just greatest hits complinations. So I'm not really into Michael Jackson compilations, as I rather buy the studio albums. But this one isn't just another greatest hits compilation. Besides Michael's greatest hits it also contains rareties, demos (many of them are as great as the released material - Cheater is a big favorite of mine and the We Are The World demo on which Michael is singing the whole song is, in my opinion, better than the well known US for Africa version), film music from The Wiz and Captain EO, songs from the Jackson 5 and the Jacksons.It leads you through Michael's career from the Jackson 5 to 2004 when this boxset was released. Hours of great and at times mesmerizing music - Michael Jackson style. There is also a concert DVD included (Bucharest 1992).I was pleasantly surprised by the package which is very beautifully done and of excellent quality. There also comes a 57-page book with the package with color pictures and writings about Michael's career.If you are a casual Michael Jackson fan and don't want to buy all the studio albums, but want an essence of Michael then this is the boxset I recommend to you. If you are a more hard core fan then that's why you have to have it in your collection.

Very fine compilation, especially surprises like "Steet Walker" with it's funky tempo, "Cheater" with it's obvious jabs at those who will remain nameless, "Monkey Business" which again points out some of the obvious misbehaviours of certain unnamed members of the family, (allegedly, lol)....I'll leave that to the listeners to figure out! 4 cds plus 1 dvd of (I believe Bucharest Concert which is wonderful) make this a truly great package. However, my greatest delight was the "un-polished" versions of "Dangerous", which I actually prefer, plus 2 demos: "Fall Again and Beautiful Girl". My best advice to the purchaser is to really LISTEN to Michael's WORDS as well as enjoy the unending talent in his music making.This collection packs a lot of the genius of Michael Jackson as well as his tremendous voice range and comittment to his art. This collection is also so full of this artist's range of style and ability that I purchased a second collection for my car and never tire of it...in fact, every time I listen to it I hear something new and amazing!
