I bought this oil for my son and his father hair they both have wick dreads and this oil really help their hair grow and continue to get thicker the smell is awesome it’s not a girly smell and they both said it helps with the itching if you have dreads then you know the itching is a big deal

UNSEALED, LEAKED, POOR PRESENTATIONThe oil/spray bottle didn’t come sealed to ensure that the oil wouldn’t leak out during shipping and handling. It leaked, as you can see in the photos and some inside the amazon box as well.Is this a brand new bottle? — or are these bottles sold and shipped ‘brand new’, WITHOUT a vacuum seal on them? How would one know if the product was tampered w or got contaminated? Most watery-liquidy type hair products come sealed to avoid these sorts of discrepancies. P.S. ‘the gripper’ tape on top of the bottle, isn’t the best method. I appreciate the plastic bag but the oils seeped getting on the bottle and somehow penetrated through the plastic onto the box. (See photos)Bottom line: this product ought to be sealed with the standard legitimate seal on the mouth of the bottle (which is underneath the screw cap/pump). Why is canola oil the first ingredient? Olive or coconut oil are typical carrier oils, for natural Afro hair care products. It's also not clear the ratio of canola oil to the long detailed list of natural oil extracts either. Isopropyl myristate, is a synthetic oil that ‘performs’ rather than nourishes the hair/scalp/skin — it gives a silky feel rather than a greasy feel. It's the second ingredients listed which is concerning.Cholecalciferol and cyclotetrasiloxane and cyclopentasiloxane are synthetic vitamin D — D3, D4 and D5: considered toxic and may cause potential health risks to hormone function and impair human fertility. May even affect ones brain and nervous system w repeated exposure or use. Purchased at about $10 (including tax) but today I see it’s on sale for $6.99 — it's going in the trash, would not recommend this. Research the ingredient list!

I love this product. I use on mine and my 3 children’s hair and scalp. All of our hair is natural. It leaves an amazing shine to my sister locs. After I wash and retwist my hair with my loc twisting product, I apply this to my scalp and my dreads to give my dreads shine. I apply it to my kids hair as well whom none of which has dread locks. It leaves our hair with a shine and healthy looking. The product smells good too!

This product overall is astonishing! I love the scent of the product makes my hair have a great shine to it and keeps it moisturized throughout the day love it and totally recommend also I have 4b 4c hair.

Had a buzz cut and wanted to grow my hair to wear braids. This product definitely helped!
