Excellent dupe for La mer cream
This is the German version of Nivea which is pretty much an exact dupe for la mer cream. I find it to be better than La mer because it’s not as greasy. I have ordered from this seller before and always receive the legit cream. The size is a tad smaller than before- the tins used to be bigger but you only need a little bit of this stuff so it lasts a really long time. Works well under makeup. It’s a very thick cream so I take a small pea sized amount and rub it between my fingers until it’s sheer (no longer white) then I press it into my face. It’s very moisturizing, great for use at night as well. I urge you to try this if you spend hundreds on La mer- this is only about $7 and the smallest size of La mer is around $100!

Nivea is the best
Still one of the best moisturizers ever. I discovered Nivea when I was looking for a dupe of La Mer. Nivea is just as moisturizing. And you can’t beat the price. My husband uses it on his contact dermatitis in the winter and it heals his skin.

Best price for a classic favorite
Love these little tins! Perfect travel size, and the scent is that classic clean smell. Best price I’ve found for the 1oz version great to keep in your bag, car, or desk

European list of ingredients although made in Thailand not Germany
I believe that this is the German/European version of Nivea Creme. It does have the correct smell and consistency--perfectly thick and moisturizing. So for me this is exactly what I wanted. My hands were really suffering from the winter weather and immediately after putting the creme on my hands are soft and happy. Not greasy at all, just moisturizing. It does not list petroleum on the ingredients like the American version (see photo), but a heads up to everyone championing no petroleum-- second on the ingredient list is Paraffinum Liquidum, then Cera Microcristallina--both petroleum products (google them). It does not contain Petrolatum (which is basically vaseline) like the American Nivea creme. It is the European ingredient list that I was looking for so it works for me despite being manufactured in Thailand and having the petroleum products. Both tins packaged well in plastic, creme contents inside as expected. Both tins dented.

This is the German one
If you've ever tried or bought La mer, You likely noticed that it smell to Nivea is identical. If you sniff tested blindfolded you cannot tell them apart I cannot tell them apart. The German Nivea does not have mineral oil or petroleum I do believe LM has mineral oil. The only difference between the two products is Nivea doesn't have the sea kelp magic water or whatever they call it. What it does do is the exact same thing. In the winter this is the best cream for your hands and face You can use it as a night cream and wake up and your skin is fantastico. I cannot say enough good things about this. I am very much a skincare enthusiast and noticed that in the winters most skin care moisturizers don't hold up especially if you're in a dry cold climate. This goes on like an inclusive locks in the moisture and you wake up with perfectly soft beautiful skin. I am not a fan of scent There is a slight scent to it but it dissipates rather quickly. This was very inexpensive and will last me probably 2 years. I like to put this on my face or another type of cream like it if I'm going for a walker run in the winter and it's really cold it takes away the ruddiness and protects your skin from when burn. It's a great product. I believe this particular one is even TSA friendly. A very very small amount goes a long way. Always make sure it's the German one. The German one is the best one in my opinion and that of a lot of other people.

Misrepresentation of country of origin - poorly packaged
Ad claims the product to be delivered is that made in Germany. Reading the label, it is unclear. Seeing the smaller tin in the picture, (from a previous purchase) it is clearly shown under 250 ml Made in Germany. Three 400 ml containers do not show Made in ………. They arrived in shrink wrap only, bouncing around loosely in the Amazon box with several other products. One of the tins was smashed, the other 2 only slightly dented. Very disappointed. Returning.
