Great sound and quality

i hooked these up in my truck, replacing my old aftermarket speakers that weren’t a matching set (from previous owner) one was blown out and the other seemed to be okay. these fit nearly perfect. i had to use metal drilling screws because the previous holes weren’t matching up. anyone whose ever hooked up any speakers knows this is common and not an issue.i have to say for the price point of these speakers they sound really nice. i listen to my music pretty loud and there’s no rattling or distortion. you can hear subtle notes in the music and listen to talk radio (podcasts) very clear. i hope they last as good as they sound.

Easy to install and they sound great.

After receiving a quick replacement for the initial delivery that was damaged during shipping, I installed these speakers in the interior of my boat. For the price, they work great and look way better than the original 30+ year old speakers. The sound quality is noticeable improvement.

Long story short, I replaced mud tires on my truck with street tires. Only then could I hear good enough in the cab to figure out my factory speakers were "lacking". I ordered 3 sets of speakers to do the upgrade; the 6x9 Blaupunkt's for the front doors; a set of Pyle PLG3.2 (3 1/2") speakers for the dash; and a set of Alpine DDT S30 tweeters (1") that I custom fit into the "Sail Panels". All of these were installed at one time, so I can't say how much each contributed to the improvement's, but the improvement was drastic. Its hard to tell how much mid & high range was added with the Blaupunkt's, but I can say for sure, all the bass you want is there.If you are upgrading from factory speakers, you will have a hard time beating these!1 month later. I just replaced my back door speakers with these. Still awesome. I've decided that there is no need for subs at this point.

The brand name has been around along time. No complaints!

I had these professionally installed. 3 days later driving down the road with music on low in the background as 3 of us were chatting the speaker started sounding funny almost like a blown speaker. It sounded awful. I finally saved the money to have them replaced and when my stereo guy opened my door today this is what we found. Total waste of money for these. I had to pay for speakers twice and installation. I hate leaving bad reviews but save your money and find better speakers.

Magnet is huge! Too huge! Seriously, there's no need for a magnet this large on a 6x9 coaxial. I was a car audio installer for half of the '90s, and back then you only saw magnets this large on cheap off-brands from the flea market. I was not expecting this. Also loses points for not including a hardware kit, speaker wire and grills the only accessories in my box.Its for this reason I sadly have to return them. They are so large they don't fit in my car, not even close, way too deep. Please see the photo of the new Blaupunkt 6x9 with the older ('00s?), blown Sony 6x9 I am trying to replace.3 stars for sound quality as i assume they are adequate, but I didn't even get to hear them.
