As long as your router has a WPS button, it’s a piece of cake to activate. I’m sure the alternatives are just as easy.

This was not only a waste of money for trying to get it to work. But the instructions are worthless. It doesn’t work and not comparable without a QR code or a place to download the software to get it to work. I have all the latest tec and wanted a booster that worked. I threw away the packaging otherwise I would have returned it.

This is basically an appliance operator gadget. What I mean by that is a user does not have much control over the device. The biggest gripe I have is no access to setting a static IP address. And, once installed, I don't know what the unit's IP address is. In my router I see the unit (no IP address shown), and I see the IP address of the device connected to it (Solar Controller). If I want to change anything in the unit I have to do a power reset and start all over again.When first installed, I was not getting a good signal at the unit from my main router. Yet it was close enough. Finally figured out that the unit was too close to a wall wart power supply. Once I moved the unit it gave me a green signal light.It does work but I have no metrics on how well it is working. This unit replaced a DD-WRT160N bridge which finally gave up the ghost. Guess I was spoiled with total access to the 160N on the fly.If you don't need access to any info then this should work for you. If you do not get a green signal light, it might still work. Try using an extension cord and find a high location for the unit away from eye level plugs and power sources.

It’s easy to set up, but if not placed correctly it’s doesn’t work as it’s supposed to if you have good internet already it will work wonders but it’s best to just upgrade your plan or get a better router

Doesnt work as it should. Picks up some of my routers signal but the internet light stays red. Doesn't work for me.

I've had 2 of these. Both have failed. The most recent one failed in about 2 months. Both died the same way. Working fine and then they refuse to connect to any wifi network. Doesn't matter how many resets you do or changing the config. They won't reconnect.Absolute junk, do not buy!Edit: The seller reached out and gave me a full refund on the item. While the item(s) were still not reliable, the customer service was very well done.
