Mattel AQUAMAN Royal Gown MERA Doll

I got this as a gift for my best friend who loves comics and collects comic dolls. This is a very gorgeous doll and is perfect for anyone who likes Mera from Aquaman.

Mattel has released two new Mera dolls for the upcoming Aquaman movie in Dec 2018. The first doll is a Mera wedding doll. I can't stress enough just how stunning this doll is out of the box. The pictures have not done it any justice. The vibrant colours & the materials of the dress (out of the box) are unspeakably gorgeous. The bodice of her gown has a sheer looking bodice & sequins overlay. It's really something.I find the Mera wedding dolls face sculpt much closer to actress Amber Heard's, and her hair is piled on her head in neat rolls, and doesn't;t need to be restyled. She has a silver crown, and even the Jellyfish-like back piece is beautifully crafted in coloured blue and orange plastic.The highlight of this doll, is the fact Mattel, knowing their buyers has offered this higher end Mera doll (not technically part of the Barbie line) a stand. Her stand is a teal plastic and braces on one leg. I am beyond happy with the overall appearance and quality of this doll.I only wish Mattel had chosen to make a Nicole Kidman Queen Atlanna doll, because I've always wanted a Nicole Kidman Barbie for my collection, but sadly, Mattel (for whatever reason) didn't design one. What a shame. I know she would have been stunning.

She's stunning! I have both Mera dolls (the "superhero" one and the "Royal Gown". They look like Barbie collector dolls to me but the bodies are not so prettiest as barbie's body so I changed both bodies and nos they look awesome to me!They quality of the hair is amazing and she really looks like Amber Heard
