Motorcycle Security Ground Anchor Heavy Duty

My first unit arrived with the ballbearing already lodged in the bolt rendering it useless. Returned that and reordered as I was very impressed with the bracket.Second arrived and it's perfect. Pretty easy to install and solid. Plenty of space for bigger chains. My bikes in the shed are very secure now.Would recommend.

Feels quite well made though I don’t have any thing to compare against, I had hoped they might weld the inside and outside of the bracket. But I’m guessing logistically this maybe impossible?!Shame this is not thatcham approved, the competitors example is which looks identical.So I’m guessing this is of equal quality, fitting was easy really placed it where I wanted it used a marker pen to mark holes.Drilled a 10mm pilot hole, then drilled out with a 16mm hole. Blew out the dust using a compressor, tester the hole depth with just the bolt. Removed the bolt and banged in the bolt anchor!Didn’t take much effort to bang in though was slightly tight, I personally didn’t use the provided Allen key thought I’m sure it would work fine.Used my dewalt impact driver on level 2, didn’t you want to use level 3, as it may have sheered the screws.Once completed I banged in the BB’s into the top of the bolts, prey to god I don’t need to remove it!TLDR, good quality, easy fitting, well worth investing.

I painted mine black as the orange stood out on my driveway too much.The anchor itself is heavy and seems strong built on first glance.For me the welds dont look the best and I personally think it would last 2 minutes under attack from grinder on the welds.Looks intimadting to non professional thiefs and does make a great deterrant.My big thick chain 18mm fits through just fine.Easy to install although I had to borrow an sds drill to get into concrete block.

Glad we bought this. It’s nice and sturdy. I can’t see anyone getting through this. Bought for a bike kept in the garage.

After a failed attempt by idiots to steal my motorcycle I bought a second anchor.this is a very heavy, sturdy anchor with good expanding bolts and anti tamper ball bearings that sit in the hexy key slots on top of the bolts. you do need a good hammer action drill with masonry bit to install but once in it will not be removed without a very loud cutting disc, as is always the case you must look at the weakest link therefore I use a gold sold kryptonite chain, as a biker I do know it's all about deterrence, if the idiots see large brightly painted anchors they will leave your bike Alone. locks on their own just allow the idiots to damage your bike trying to remove them.

Decent quality product, no question, unfortunately it didn’t come with anything to fix it with. Waste of time really.
