As a medical and biology author and lecturer myself since the 1980s, I know how important good texts on a biological subject can be to students and other interested readers. And how hard they are to write. But this is one of the best. The author has combined her wealth of knowledge and experience to create a text that is clear to understand, precise and backed up with beautiful colour figures. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in reading further into the rapidly expanding topic of cancer biology.

This book has accompanied me through all my bachelor's degree as I tailored it towards a cancer-intensive specialisation, and the newest edition came out just in time for my MRes. It's incredibly comprehensive, and I've not found anpother that explains all the pathways so clearly-so it remains my go-to for the fourth year in a row!I cannot stress how valuable this manual is.
