Easy replacement, fits perfectly
Easy to install, although I had to do it a few times as the buttons weren't working, but that was my watch, not the battery. Handy to have the little tools with it! My watch has gone from lasting 5 mins to 3+ days. I charged it fully, then ran it down completely. Did this 3 times to optimise the battery. Battery fitted perfectly

Great battery, throw the screwdriver away
This battery is excellent. Lasts at least as long as the original if not longer. I have gone through the 2 full cycles and use till empty. It's lasting between 36-48 hours but my watch has been off for about 2 years so I have reset and reinstalled everything and been getting the settings just as I like them so after the next full charge and empty cycle I will get the real world battery life. I am expecting at least 30 hours. However, the very important Y001 screwdriver is useless and wore out after the first turn. Do NOT make my mistake and think it's okay to tighten, they just don't and let water in after which meant I had to remove everything again let it all dry out and then put it back together again. This time with a good set of screwdrivers including the all important Y001.

A good kit, difficult to get into the watch though...
After my S3 Frontier had been sat dead for the last 6 months and having contemplated paying nearly £70 for a replacement battery and fitting I thought there had to be a cheaper alternative.I saw this kit, and for the money I felt that if it went pear shaped it would be no great loss.First off, the pictures made getting in to the watch look real easy...it isn't.Secondly, there's no step by step guide beyond the 4 stock images on the Amazon product page...YouTube thankfully has a tonne of videos in respect of getting into the watch.Unfortunately...and no fault of the kit...the back of my watch was really well attached and I had to resort to using one of those small precision screwdrivers to prise open the back, thankfully I didn't destroy the motherboard or scratch the screen...but I came close.Having sorted this out, separating the original battery from the device is a bit of a grind...it's really well stuck in there so be patient. The replacement battery states it is 400mAh...the watch says otherwise and declares it the same as the original...380mAh.Needless to say, the watch powered up and did NOT die within 30 seconds...as was the norm I had become used to.I am happy to report that the watch seems to be working perfectly, the battery is doing its job and doing it well. For £17...I am really happy that I decided to risk it and have a go at repairing the watch myself. For the money this is a good kit, just be warned that it's not necessarily going to be the easiest thing to do.My advice is take your time and maybe accept that if you have to resort to a little brute force you may scuff the exterior slightly - but....it'll be worth it when your watch is working again and you can enjoy using it...like new. 😁👍

Top stuff saved my watch from the bin.
My watch had been acting up with sudden battery drains and all sorts of weird stuff like thinking it had 83% battery then powers down.Been a problem for quite sometime, dodgy Samsung batteries. The added tools make this a best buy, don't hesitate it getting it. Once you have the back off the watch, the rest is quite easy, just watch two or three You Tube videos on it.Tips -Getting the back off is a real pain. Where the watch straps attach is you access points. However, the tools you get are likely not thin enough. I needed a scalpel blade to press into the gap and wiggle it around a bit to loosen the join. Once you see a bit of movement you can use the long included stick to start a bigger gap. Move between both ends of the watch alternating, it will loosen, just need patience. The back has a sticky gasket (waterproof) which is part of the above problem. Gentle teasing of the back with the triangle tool will release it without tearing it (if you tear it then worse case is the watch may no longer be waterproof). The last bit it getting the battery off the mobo. It's sticky so again, use triangle tool to tease it away, holding the mobo firm to avoid damaging the connector cable between mobo and retention place.Everything else is easy.My watch no refuses to use any charge and is lasting forever.

Tools are not fit for purpose and break, instructions might as well be used as tissue paper.
Tools are not fit for purpose and break, instructions might as well be used as tissue paper! So disappointed with this, please becareful when using this. My watch had so much glue holding it together, that the tools just snap when trying to open after removing the screws. The screw driver are OK but I ended up using a better quality electronics screwdriver from ifixit.Unfortunately, after taking it apart and installing the new battery, my watch will not turn on and doesn't work after reassembly. So 0/10 from me, I would recommend avoiding this.

Easy to install if you follow YouTube videos.
Comes with no instructions and the tool provided is too thick to remove the back so I used a scalpel. Once the back was off it was very easy to replace the battery (although it would be better if it came with replacement double sided tape, I used my own). My watch now works when it would have been dead.

Fiddly job but worth it
Old battery in a samsung gear 3 lasted about 10 minutes. Takes a a steady hand and patience to fit the new battery using the kit supplied as it involves some tiny screws an cable connectors. Well worth the trouble as the watch now lasts about 4 days .very pleased.
