The build quality is just as good as OEM, and the fit for installation was perfect. You just need a screwdriver to install--you don't even need to turn screws, just pop a couple of clips to take the old ones off. These trunk lifts fit and work as expected, plus the included directions were clear and helpful! It took longer to read and understand the instructions than it took to actually removal the old ones and install the new ones. Propping the lid with a 2X4 worked great.

Very easy for a novice to install. Fit perfect with quick and easy instructions. Took 5 minutes or less. And more importantly it works. Our trunk wouldn’t stay open and these were the fix! Wish I would have thought of this months ago.

I was skeptical of these given the relatively low cost compared to getting from Infinity, but they look and feel sturdy, they fit perfectly, and work fine. Took all of 5 minutes to install. We've had them in use now for about a month with no issues. Only time will tell if they are as durable as they look, but so far so good.

This was an easy direct replacement for a 2010 Infiniti G37S convertible trunk struts. They replace the OEM trunk struts made for Nissan in Germany. I would say that they are equal in force to the original ones so if you are looking for stronger ones because you added a rear trunk spoiler, you may have to keep looking. Since my trunk has the original trim, they work about the same as I remembered how the originals worked before they went bad. Seems like the originals only last about 2 years and I have had the dealer replace mine a few times under warranty. There plenty of youtube videos how to replace these and if you have a helper holding the trunk lid for you, you can do both in about 5 minutes! Only minor negative is they have a "Lift Supports Depot" sticker on the struts I'll probably remove another day... Time will tell if these "hold up" in cold weather and or at least last 2 years like the originals.

Amazing, highly recommend. Work very well and have solved a problem I've lived for 6 years. I thought the original trunk lift struts never holding the trunk lid up on my G37 Convertible was just a problem I could never fix. 4 clips, 10 minute install, works great. Changed my life. No more carrying around tennis racquets to prop up my lid.

On my 2014 Q60S Convertible these hold the trunk fully open fine. But it is hard to open the trunk you have to apply a good amount of force to open it. Not strong enough for convertible.

I've put off getting my trunk fixed because of the cost. These were a great value for the money. My husband found these and fixed both front hood and trunk in a matter of minutes. Watched a YouTube video so easy to install. Safety first!
