It’s very cute and easy to adjust! Only problem is it’s a little tight, but I did go by the pounds listed and didn’t measure her. She’s 11lbs and XS says it goes up to 15lbs but if she gets any bigger I don’t think it’ll fit around her waist! But other than it being super snug it’s super cute and I’m sure it’ll work great at the beach!

The media could not be loaded. I had a life vest for a few years but it finally gave out so had to purchase a new one. I scanned sooo many reviews and went back and forth on this one. The one review that had me on the fence was they said the floatation was not the best. I really liked the look and finally decided to give a try, I could always return.So happy I went with this not. Not only does my little guy so handsome in it, it fit perfect, he just about 25 lbs, and as you can see from the video when he makes his first turn, the jacket is keeping him afloat.Overall this was the best choice I could have made for my little guys safety.

My dog is a doberman so he has a thick chest and a pretty small waist. This makes it hard to find life jackets that will fit him well. This jacket is good because it allows for a small waist and large chest with the adjustments available in the fit, not perfectly but pretty well. I also like that it is neoprene and the color scheme looks good and is easy to spot from a bit of a distance. My dog was a horrible swimmer at first, and this really helped keep him afloat and build his confidence. Now I like that it helps him when he becomes tired, and makes me feel much better about his safety.The con is that it doesn't last long with regular use. We are regular lake goers, and by the end of the summer the stitching along where the velcro and the neoprene meet along the chest was pretty ripped. It also started ripping where the strap comes through that clips under his neck. With regular use, don't expect it to last more than one season. Occasional use it should be fine for more extended wear. (Note, we also help my dog onto the back of the boat by pulling on the handle of the jacket. I'm sure this significantly adds to the wear and tear on the jacket. The stitching on the handle still seemed solid after the season.)The pic is early in the season while the jacket was practically new. (Ignore the prong collar.. not sure why he had it on in the boat, that's not the norm so no reason to comment on the safety of my dog due to the collar.)

UPDATE: This jacket doesn't have the strength needed for the XL dogs. Went to help him get in the boat, and it completely tore, compromising it and my dog. So disappointed. It needs better stitching and strap quality. If you literally never plan to use the strap, it's great. I should have known for the price that quality would suffer somewhere.My 3rd life jacket purchase. 1st didn't have enouh flotation, 2nd had great flotation, but neck/chest opening didn't close. This jacket is almost big on him in the body, and the neck enclosure is perfect when almost fully open. Velcro is almost too strong, very effective. Do wish it had a chin rest, and not sure the handle has enough reinforcement or sturdiness on this big model, but I am very happy to have something that works, is bright, and I feel safe with.

I do love it, because our little (well not so little Boston Terrier) looks so darn cute in it. I first purchased the medium I felt it was too big and bulky plus it covered way over his little private part and the under neck fold/piece just looked uncomfortable and big. The small fit good, I felt he moved well. Under belly has two very strong good size/coverage velcro straps and on top of those an adjustable clip strap . The back velcro strap fit perfect the one around his chest touched only about 1/2 an inch which was fine because of the clip strap and that fit fine and held it together -really no big deal for me that they did not velcro. However I really wonder if this would keep them from going under, HE LOVES the water but swims with his girlfriends a lab and golden retriever they are big and swim super far and he really can not keep up. He does follow them way out there and it seems just his little head stays up so I'm not sure if it really keeps him afloat -it does give me a tiny bit peace of mind but I do still wonder. He is 28lbs good size Boston Terrier but I felt the medium was just too big but maybe it would keep him better afloat but he would not be able to play around so well with all that bulk. If you are not sure I would just get 2 sizes and send one back- I really should have just done that an been done. I did read one review about the stitching and yes it was a poor job, some areas I may need to go over I will see how it holds up, but over all the stitching was closed but not the best job and crooked in places.

Love this for my little dog. It's peace of mind that if he falls over he'll be floating waiting for me to get him. I also love the handle on top it helps me grab him out of the water!

I was hoping for good outcome with this adorable polka dot vest for my girl. And, for the most part, all good. It fit well and was easily adjustable. However, the velcro on underbelly just freaked her out too much so I sent it back and got one with just 2 simply buckles underneath.
