Jawsome!
Purchased for my niece's 6th birthday (she loves sharks). We played about five rounds, and she seemed to really enjoy it. She is very familiar with Go Fish and matching four-of-a-kind, so she's got the basics. The speed and the awareness of her co-players is going to take a few more games, but it’s not overly difficult to learn. If you already know how to play Spoons, then you know how to play this game. The cardboard sharks are sturdy. The cards are no more or less sturdy than regular playing cards. The addition of the extra-chance shark teeth is a great idea--it helps the game last longer (but don't worry, this isn't Uno; the game will end).In my opinion this game would be great for ages 7-9; younger kids would definitely be able to play, but know your kids and their gaming capabilities. It can be fast or slow, but it works best if all players move at similar speeds (but not mandatory). A 13yo sibling might get frustrated with the 6yo's speed, and vice versa, for example. But once everyone gets the hang of it, I think it would be a great family game. Not too babyish for the big kids, not too complicated for the younger kids.A fun game, a great gift.

Great game!
My 3 and 5 year old love this game! Great for working memory and easy to learn to play! Not too many pieces to keep track of and great quality, helps that it looks cute too!

Fun for shark loving kids!
Spoons was my favorite game as a kid and this game is too. It uses the same concept but you sneakily grab sharks. My shark obsessed kid found the sharks more fun than the game, which is still a win in my book!

Cute & well made
I got this for my daughter’s 6th birthday. She is a cat lover and gravitates towards cute cat themed things. I was worried this game might be too easy but it definitely isn’t. We are a family of 4 (6 and 7 year old daughters, mom and dad) and it wasn’t challenging enough that we all felt engaged and had fun. We let the kids make the accommodation of leaving their cards face up and it allowed my 7 year old to be very successful and helped my 6 year old as well. Took my husband and I longer to remember where our flipped over cards were so definitely helped even the playing field! The cards and theme are cute, and all the pieces are high quality.

My kid LOVES this game
Would give 5 stars but some of the directions are a bit of a head scratcher. We don't use the pogs and just utilize the main deck of cards. A great introduction to card games and teaches the value of fair play and losing graciously. Maybe when my daughter is older, currently 5 yo, we'll try again and make the pogs a functional part of the game.

Even fun for adults
I was worried this game might be too simple for my 11 year old, but it's a lot harder than it seems! It's easy enough for my 7 year old, but hard enough for my wife and I. There's even a piece you can choose not to use if you want to make the game easier for littler kids. It's a ton of fun, easy to learn, and gets everyone laughing and scrambling for their cards. Perfect for a family game night.

Hit with my 7 and 9 year old
My kids love this game and want to play all the time. It's easy to learn and fast paced. The sharks that you grab are nice and sturdy cardboard, but after many rounds are showing some wear. The cards themselves are a little thin and also showing wear pretty quickly. I hope it holds up because it has been a hit in our house!
