Excellent FLOOD lights for the money
I work for an Import Auto Parts specialist company, and I have talked directly with the Vendor Rep. for Hella on these and other lights they offer.I have purchased many of these over the years.I use them for backup / reverse lights on my vehicles. These are FLOOD lights - not SPOT lights which is important to know. These work great with the Starkey reverse harness (awesome harness by the way!) plus other harness kits that are out there.I like how once they are installed you can adjust them to your needs and then tighten them in place.

Bright and quality
I used this as a reverse light on my Baja. It includes a 18” wire with two leads (no plugs) and mounting hardware. The enclosure is nice looking and it draws very little current. I’m very happy with it.

Great value for the money and it works like a Hella light should
I installed 6 of these on a John Deere 835m Gator. I used the Hella wiring harness that matches up with these lights. The result is fantastic. Easy to install if you have the skills. The light pattern is what I would call a "work light" or "flood light" meaning it is wide and long reaching. I put four on the front and two on the back providing a sweeping arch of illumination around the vehicle. I live in a remote section of New England on a property with woods, trails, fields and not many houses or any night light from city lights. I wanted a less expensive option than the John Deere OEM lights which are twice the price of these but lights that performed. These lights live up to the Hella name.

PERFECT for my application. But condensation
I went with these hella brand lights as I trust the brand more than the knockoff stuff floating around on Amazon. 1 of 4 ordered had condensation after a few days of heavy rain but I got it switched out at a local ORW and all has been well. They are VERY bright for camp and area lighting. They might be ok for fog lights. I would go with something brighter and a more defined beam pattern for driving or cornering lights. I have these on my ARB roof rack as backup lights and side trail/ditch lights as well as just camp area and task light.Update: 12/26 after some more rain 3 of 4 installed have light condensation. That's now 4 of 5 lights tested. Will update if any failures. Removed a star.Update 10/26. After the SoCal summer the condensation has evaporated on the 6 lights. Still running just fine. No issues.Update November 2020:First rain of socal fall finally took one of these lights out. Of the 6 this is one of 2 that are turned down more of an angle than the other lights. And 2 lights that are nearly level are in almost perfect condition with little to no condensation. I guess water runs down the cable and seeps into the housing there. Might consider sealing that with silicone.

Good flood lights.
I bought these to replace some cheap Chinese LED lights I bought six months ago. So far they seem great. They're quite bright and are a true flood pattern with a very well defined beam. Time will tell if they hold up any better, but so far I'm quite happy.Update Feb 2018: I've had these 6 months and they're still going strong. I love'em.Update Aug 2018: Still working great. I bought 2 more.

Not sealed well.
Lights are very bright. I mounted them to my bumper for additional reverse lighting. Was very happy until they took on water in less then 1 year..

Good but has flaws
I Purchased 4 of These for my Jeep. Ive Had them on for about maybe 6 months or longer and they work great and are very bright and fit in the space needed however the housings don't seem to keep water out. I have condensation inside the lenses of 3 out of the 4 i purchased. I don't know how long they will last but i might look else where for something thats going to be mounted on your truck outside in the elements 24/7 365
