The product itself its a delight, it is gorgeous, the fan cools nicely and blows more than enough air, and the lights look amazing and so colorful, the app works great and it let's you play music on the fan and you can set the light to go with the rythym of it, change colors, set the brightness of the light, and more! The fan is beautiful, I love this retractable technology, you can't see it, until is on blowing air.Having said that, the installation is a nightmare. I have experience installing ceilings fan, so that made it a little bit easier for me, but the box was missing some important screws, I talked to Amazon customer services about it and they recommended me to return it, that was not a option for me since I loved the fan and it was working fine. Talked to the seller and offered me to send me the screws home, he was really kind and thoughtful, but just ended up buying the screws missing in a hardware store and figured out how to put it all together without paying attention to helpless instructions.The fan is worth the price. Installation is not. This should be fixed, and make sure to include all screws and pieces before shipping a product. Ignoring this, there is nothing to hate about this awesome fan! I just hope the led lights never break, since I have no idea how to change it if it ever breaks (I think and hope the manufacturer cover this).

I've had the same bedroom ceiling fan for nearly 15 years. The motor was loud and once it was on - it would rhythmically swing. I figured it was time to upgrade. What I liked about this Remote Control Fan is that it could be controlled at the switch, a remote, and an app (+ Bluetooth Music AND Color changing lights?!). What I didn't like is that I wanted Alexa home automation and this didn't have it - so I found this controller: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RYD632T/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_47BMTAAZD00FKPVTCPJ2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1The controller that came with the Fan vs the Alexa compatible controller are nearly identical but most importantly: same size and same wire colors. I hv an old house with a single switch. From this switch I only had 2 wires (this was made more fun because the existing ceiling wiring is that old thick stuff that has some black cloth tape - no definable white/black wire - 50/50 shot of wiring it up correctly. Got lucky the first time). Connecting the other side of the controller to the fan wires was easy - just matching the colors.When you take the light fixture apart so you can mount it to the fan, remember this: identify the star pattern of screw holes around the speaker area. AND Do not worry abt screwing down the speaker - it simply rests inside the light fixture.The new controller (I bought separately) connected to my wifi and then Alexa without a problem. I then downloaded the app for my ceiling fan and played with the lights and music. Last Tip: Light needs to be ON to connect via Bluetooth to enjoy music or app control.Aside from that, I leave my wall switch ON so I can use Alexa or my remote. I've had a window unit AND my old fan on previously to get the room to cool down. After the install, I just had only the fan on and it kept the room comfortable. The difference in noise from my old fan is amazing! It's decently quiet.I prepped by watching a few YouTube videos for this style of fan installation. With an extra set of hands and an extra ladder, from take down to install - it took abt an hr. Getting 2 apps set up took another 20 mins.I'm happy and feel the combined purchases made it worth it.

We hired an electrician to install this in my daughter's room. The wires were mislabeled so once that was figured out, we were hopeful! Now, we have to turn on the unit from the wall in order to begin operating with either app or remote control. When we turn on at wall switch, both fan and light come on. The fan only operates with light on white light. When we try to change the color on light, it changes but shuts fan off. You cannot change color of light with fan on, nor can you turn light off and keep fan on for nighttime. We ended up with an electrician calling in a secondary resource, spending apx 6 hours on phone with customer support and troubleshooting. They felt so bad for us that they discounted their rate to soften the blow. But, between what we paid for this light/fan plus what we paid in electrician fees, we have paid apx $600 for a reg light and fan that is only partially functional. It is still up and my sweet girl cannot run the fan at night, nor can she change the colors. Do not even get me started on the speaker function. We cannot sync to our music apps as promised.

Light is very bright on 100% and fan moves a ton of air very quietly. Lots of cool features and install was pretty painless, did have to use my own screws for one part because supplied ones were too big. If you have app issues make sure app has access to Bluetooth. I handed my son his phone after downloading app and apparently he denied access to Bluetooth. Once I figured that out it’s been fine. Do wish it connected to WiFi for Alexa but all in all I’m happy and my son won’t stop thanking me for it so I can’t really complain.

You will want one in every room! This light has been the focal point of our house. The fan is very powerful and silent! The kids love the lights and music and the adults are mesmerized as well! The app allows you to sync your music and the lights. The LED quality is great. The lampshade has a great sparkle. Best of all customer service was amazing! This seller stands by their products and sales for sure. I will be buying another one when we renovate the spare bedroom! If you’re looking for a nursery or kids room fan and light - MUST BUY! But you will not be disappointed for any room!
