as a chain breaker, this is a 3 out of 5. its easy to use, instructions arent too bad. but after pressing out only 4 pins, the press pin began to deform on the tip. luckily you get several sizes of pressing pins so you may have a spare if/when it breaks.as a chain riveter, this is a 0 out of 5. while trying to press the first rivet on a DID 525 chain, the riveting head deformed and stripped. the rivet did not bulge at all. the tool head absorbed all the force and failed. there is only one rivet press in the case which leaves me searching for a dedicated, high quality rivet press.bottom line: this is a pass unless you are just looking to break chains (or the tool itself)

It is cheaply made just like all the other inexpensive ones you see. It might work another time or two. The threads are starting to gall after the first use even with generous usage of lube. The metal is just not high quality. It may work better on small chains. I used it on a 520 oring chain.

Go with a. Quality kit. This one broke on the first rivit. Tool tip broke off and got stuck inside of rivit

Avoid avoid avoid!!! The adjustment bolt is not milled correctly so none of the pieces fit. Manufacturer confirmed this

Very cheap, over price. Good for just one use. You can buy more durable for the price.

When used as a River tool it doesn’t work at all. Broke under normal use first time. Ended up spending the money on an expensive one and got results as desired.
