Nice Ratchet Belt. Holds Tight and Looks Nice.
I ended up buying two more of these, so obviously I like it. The ratchet is smooth and pretty much infinitely adjustable. The release works great. The width is comfortable for me. The belt has not frayed. The size chart is acurate using the inch measurements. Disregard the size names. Use the measurements. It's a good looking belt.I will say that my first belt had the "glossy," black buckle and I did scratch it. I'm hard on belts but I did manage to get about a 2mm scratch. I next time i bought the belt, I chose the distressed finish buckles. They have not scratched at all.I'm happy with the purchase. It's a great everyday belt.

BEST BELT EVER
I love this belt! It's a prefect size for me and can easily be adjusted within small increments. The black buckle is simple but just enough of a design to keep from being boring. The grey belt matches all of my clothes and I wear it every day. So far the quality seems great, it still feels and looks new after several months of daily wear .

Solid Belt
This belt is a mixed bag. I’m seriously overweight, and there are some aspects of this belt that don’t work well for me personally, but overall, I still find it is generally superior to more traditional cloth/leather belts.Good stuff:The webbing seems durable with no discernible stretch. When it is tightened, it stays tight, and it doesn’t roll even under my substantial girth. On first glance, the ratcheting/latching mechanism looks like it is going to be uncomfortable, but I was surprised by how little I felt. The underside of the buckle didn’t cut into me, and it was only after more than seven hours of slouching forward at my desk that I noticed my belly was getting a sore spot from the top of the buckle. It is hard to describe, but my point is that I had been wearing it for weeks and hadn’t noticed anything until that point. It is way more comfortable than it looks. The buckle has a tension release lever that makes it easy to quickly remove the belt, even when you realize you’ve had too many beers and nuts and need a fast visit to the nearest toilet.Lastly, in spite of having no particular mechanism to grab onto, the ratcheting mechanism holds securely (with a caveat below)Not so good:The release mechanism can be triggered by the zipper area on your jeans (mine, anyway). This can be overcome by adjusting the buckle of the belt left or right or “center”. My belly mostly conceals where “center” is, but on someone else it might look a bit odd. Then again, if you lack the big belly to mask the buckle, maybe you won’t have such a hard time with the release either. The only other sort of negative mark is that the loose end of the belt goes behind the secure part of the belt. This is one of those things that is probably more of a problem for me than for someone who has more of a butt or is simply in better shape. For me, it can be hard to get as much tension as I would like, and then having achieved that tension, it can be hard to get the loose end tucked in. Even though it can be a bit uncomfortable and require more than one attempt, the smaller increments of adjustment make it a lot easier to get the belt, “just a little tighter.”I think my ideal version of this belt would be a similar design, but one where the loose end lays atop the tightened belt and it would have some clever way of protecting the release mechanism without making it noticeably more difficult to release the belt. I love that there isn’t a tension adjustment “region” like there is on another belt for which I’ve seen ads. I have hopes of losing at least some of my weight, and I like the idea that I don’t need to worry about either outgrowing or un-growing tot he point that this belt will have to be replaced for those reasons.

Excellent, Flawless, Durable Too!
This is the second of this type of belt I have purchased. The first one was Jan 10, 2024....I have worn that one literally every day, and it still looks almost NEW, and still works PERFECTLY! The design is simple and flawless, works every time you buckle it....loosen or tighten it.....or completely unbuckle it!I am now buying a second one in case these should one day disappear off Amazon.I previously had purchased two similar belts called "Slide Belt", these were way more expensive, and looked nice, but the press fit rivets that hold the buckle together would come loose and fall out, also the leather on the belt began to split, for the entire width of the belt (~ 3inches).....both of my Slide Belts only lasted ~10mo each.If you want a great super adjustable belt, get the Fairwinn brand.

Good looking + Solid + High Quality
Solid belt. Works perfectly. Very strong material. Not too heavy. Great buckle as well. I like that it is not leather which seems to break down too fast. I've had it for 6 months and still love it!
