Overall I've found the camera to be well built and good quality. It's got good video resolution and picture quality with the ability to control camera movement via the Ctronics app. You can download the app from the app store and put in the camera details as stated in the instruction manual. It has good night vision and motion detection features.In addition you have a peace of mind while having a cost effective solution for security of your home or workplace.I would highly recommend this product since it's easy to setup and serves it's purpose quite well.Also during winter season in UK the battery charging went down and had to recharge manually. But having contacted support, found out battery drain can be mitigated by switching to default settings. Features like light activation during night can drain the battery.

Bought this mid level camera to cover the drive to my house and use the sun to power it. Located it where I thought it would catch the sun during the day. After a year of use, the battery discharged over the week due to really cloudy weather. I contacted Eric from Ctronics customer support, who replied almost immediately, recognised the problem that I had located the camera badly, and quickly came up with the solution. I have now relocated the camera to catch the sun all day, no problems since and very happy with top quality customer support. I have a 128 GB card in the camera to record my front garden, with now the ability to cover my back garden. The App is good quality and really user friendly, with good instructions for set up. All in all a very good camera for £118, quality product, great customer service and would buy products from Ctronics in the future, highly recommended.....

First of all, I like the design of this camera it feels reasonably well built for the money and the premise of the solar panel to charge an internal battery pack was what sold it to me also the ability to FTP my alarm recordings was great..... BUT....The solar panel is inadequate for charging vs the power requirements of the camera. this has led to me having to dangle a phone charger out of a window to charge the battery's which only last about 3/4 days with the solar panel.Other cons are the on the software side of things.... First off the camera is from China and comes with the usual translation problems (inc Manual) and the software is to limited with no explanation on what each thing does, i consider myself pretty tech savvy and i had problems... the software is missing key components which i would expect from a CCTV styled camera. And the fact it is on Mobile devices only is a much bigger problem than you can imagine. downloading and sharing video files is a multi stage headache.. so if you need to send any imagery to the authority's good luck if your not tech savvy.Update 08/01/22.. Its now dead... no longer charges from solar panel its now constantly plugged in, doesn't loop video recordings so manual format of card is required.. manual format of card has stopped working in software.. only thing that still works is video passthrough and pan and tilt.. Basically e-Waste now :(

I bought this camera after seeing that it had good reviews, this is my first camera so I didn’t have anything to compare it to but I am really impressed with the quality and ease of use once set up. The only issue I did have was when I was trying to connect the camera to my wifi through the app, I read the instructions numerous times and was ready for giving up but then I put my phone on aeroplane mode and it worked - what a relief!, it had taken me all day!For anyone buying this you need a ‘mini’ SD card so that the videos are saved. Also ensure that it is fully charged before trying to connect it to the app once purchased.The picture quality and motion detection is brilliant, I get a notification to my phone when there is movement and the solar power means you don’t need to charge the battery, I’ve had mine up for 3 weeks now and it’s still got 50% battery.On the app you can move the camera to where you want it facing, the camera does not move by itself but you can move it 355 degrees left to right and 90 degrees up and down, you just use your finger to move the picture and it moves the camera.There is also a microphone so your videos have sound and you can talk through it from your phone.The night vision is very good.I also won 1st prize on a Anniversary Celebration gift card which came in the box which was a security camera so I contacted CTRONICS on Facebook Messenger and someone responded with an Amazon voucher code. I then ordered my FREE security camera and it has arrived today - how amazing! It’s the same as the one I have but without the solar power. I’ve won 2nd prize this time so will hopefully be receiving a FREE SD card very soon.
