Sharp like a serrated samurai sword
I bought one of these Bread knives for work. After I used it (mostly slicing acidic fruits), I had to buy another one for my home. It is very sharp, it is beautiful to work with. Not only for bread, but for everything, which you like to slice. From roast, to vegetables. Not a chefs knife, but definitely one of the most versatile knives around.

the novelty of the sharpness will have you unnecessarily slicing entire loaves for days
If you've never had a decent bread knife before, the novelty of the sharpness will have you unnecessarily slicing entire loaves for days. It's weird being able to slice bread like it's a soft potato or something. No pulling or tearing, it just slices it easily which makes it seem like it's not bread you're cutting. Dunno, maybe it's just me.

Cuts effortless at a bargain price
Ordered this 10" bread for a Christmas present and I wanted to try it out myself to check it out. now I have a new bread knife and just ordered a second one to give as the Christmas present. It's very sharp, cuts homemade bread effortless. Really comfortable to hold and use. I've never owned a knife this sharp and good. I've even ordered 2 more chef knives for myself and blade guards, as of how much it has impressed me. I cut a full loaf with it just to use it and was smiling while cutting each slice, try different thicknesses and it did it with pleasure. For the price it's an absolute bargain. I've got a £150 chef knife and it's never cut as nice as this bread knife. I hope the other knives I've ordered will stand up to this one.

Sharp as a very sharp thing.
So sharp, I used itself to cut open the stiff plastic packaging.Rated 4 stars not 5, purely because I find the yellow and black handle ugly. It doesn’t match anything else I own. But!!! It’s the sharpest knife in my *collection, by far.Re-enacted the samurai-sword and silk scarf scene from The Bodyguard perfectly using this knife and a 6lb brisket. Sexier too.*collection = regular kitchen knife block. I’m not some nutter that collects knives.

Absolutely Phenomenal!
A good performing bread knife is something that didn't really cross my mind as I hadn't dealt with a lot of bread loafs, but I found myself buying fresh baked bread these days and I've been getting fed up with the mess of crumbs my old bread knife would leave behind. After poking around the internet, I saw America's Test Kitchen recommending the Mercer Millennia bread knives and they've rarely steered me wrong. This thing glides right through a hard crusted french bread and didn't mush the soft pillowy insides. The handle is nice and grippy and while I would love a bread knife with a handle that's similar to the rest of my knives, but at the price of just over $20, this thing is absolute steal compared to anything with a nicer handle that's up over $100.If this helped, please click the button below!

What an excellent breadknife
Being a lover of Dick Spirit knives, I ran off to see what they had to offer. When I saw the price, I went kind of cross-eyed. Several people suggested this one instead.I bake round sourdough loaves regularly, so I need a good long knife. This is 10 inches roughly, which is just what I need.It also has fewer teeth than some and they are pointed. Fewer teeth has been shown to cut bread better. It cuts superbly, both heavy crusts and soft crusts. And the wide blade makes it easy to control.Overall, I am very happy - and I saved myself seventy quid!!!!
