Dove Men+Care Defining Pomade, Sleek Hold 1.75 Ounce

After attempting to find the best pomade, I finally and happily settled on Dove Defining Pomade. Trust me, I have tried every brand and name you can find in Pomades. Most of them stiffen up fairly hard and you do not even feel like running your fingers thru your hair. But the Dove pomade holds your hair in place and with a decent shine, you can run your fingers to thru and your hair feels and looks very natural - as if you did not put it on . It also smells very pleasant - very subtle and not over powering.Needless to say, I am very happy and hopefully this pomade will be available without modifications of any kind for rest of my life. Only complaint I have is, it is only available in 1.75 Oz size and I wish it becomes available in 3 or 4 Oz jars. Also, it is somewhat pricey.

Smells so good and leaves your hair holding but not crunchy or slimy.

I really like this product. it’s becoming very difficult to find, causing me to believe that dove just might be phasing this product out. Which is a shame.

good product for the price

Purchased for the male in the household who regularly uses the product. He has straight relatively thick hair and this holds it well without turning hard and crunchy. A little goes a long way.The scent is clean, light and dissipates quickly so no over-powering fragrance is entering the room before he does. Modestly priced. The only problem is it isn’t carried locally everywhere so rather than waste time or make a special trip it is easier to order it here.

Use the pomade while hair is wet. Let dry then comb once again. Hold well

My hair is dry and thick... this stuff works well or better than American Crew for me. Washes out with water.Could be seen as greasy for some... just don't use too much.

The hold is pretty good but it leaves a weird feel to your hair and if it rains or gets wet your hair will be slimy like gel. I wouldn't get this again based on that.
