Not heard of this author, my granddaughter asked for theses, and she hasn't put them down , she's 8, and I'm very glad to see her reading.

Bought these for my 10yr old. Was very disappointed to find majority of the book has pictures very little text!

My son loved these books! Hes struggled with his reading at times, but has really taken to these with the mix of graphics and formatting of the stories. Plus some good old fashioned kid humour!

This version was the American version, with American spellings ie. 'neighbor' rather than 'neighbour'. I'm English and I don't want to confuse my 8yr old with American spellings....but the story is great and engaging.

My daughter loves this books so she is currently on book 3. Will need to order the other set.
