Brilliant and actually works
I have purchased and return numerous camera trying to find one that actually streams for longer than 10 minutes and i’ve found it,this camera is amazing, picture quality is really good even night vision is great,it actually stays on for long than 10 minutes,it was on all night with no problems, its a bit more expensive than others but it actually works and works really well, well worth the money, works very well with Alexa and easy to set up

Pat watch
Bought this as a cam watch to keep an eye on my dog while not at home which does put my mind at ease, their good quality, the picture is very clear and cheap and simple to install.

Camera ok, app makes it hugely inconvenient
First, the positives: Camera itself seems well enough made, field of view adequate, will tilt up a long way but not down very much meaning that you can’t place it on a high shelf and point it downward. Power cable seems a decent length (unlike the Ring camera whose cable is about 3 inches long). Picture quality ok, night vision pretty good, detection works well, not too many false alerts. Now the negatives: not super easy to set up, the QR code that you need to scan is too small for my phone to read plus, for some weird reason, the app fires up the front-facing camera with no option to switch to the rear. Ended up having to set it up manually, which leads me on to the next point: the app is diabolical, truly bad and not at all thought-out. You can set up a monitoring schedule as with most cameras like this, but there is NO option to set the camera to an adhoc monitor should you, for example, pop out for the evening. Instead you have to go into the app, find the camera settings, find the monitoring schedule page (called ‘Arm schedule’ by Yale), and add a new monitoring start and stop time for the time that you think you’ll be out. This schedule will then turn on monitoring on the same day at the same time until you remember to delete it. Add to the fact that this process needs you to remember to press the almost invisible ‘Save’ button to register the change, ‘cos if you don’t the app won’t remind you it will just forget the new schedule.Such a shame a simple operation has to be made so cumbersome

Works great but unintuitive setup
The product is excellent, great picture quality, motion detection works fine. However, as other reviewers have noted, the phone app seems to have been made by a distracted 5 year old. The iPhone app at any rate.My particular nemesis was the screen that asks for a device password during setup (not all purchasers seem to get this <shrug>). If you do, gentle reader, do not drive your insane trying to locate aforementioned password on the camera, the (useless) manual or the box it came in. Also ignore the app's advice to first set this password in Settings. Those are filthy lies. Instead go to Me -> Tool -> LAN Live, give the app access to local network if needed, then hit Search on the next screen. If your camera has managed to connect to Wi-Fi, it will show up here and you finally get to set its password yourself. Tears of joy were shed. Then go through the device addition process again and provide the password you just set up.It took me a frustrating hour figuring this out. Hope this helps other lost souls.

Usually easy to set up
I’ve got a few of these, so when I installed this one onto my network, it gave me a bit of a problem, the Spotlight unusually started as soon as I powers it up for the first time, making it difficult to see if it is green (pairing mode), however if you wait for the spotlight to time out, you can continue with the pairing as normal. I thought I’d leave this review because I almost sent mine back, but it’s working fine.

Bought 2 usual IT pain to get going but glad I did!
Bought two for piece of mind due to a weird family member and rising crime rate in the area. They can be adjusted for sensitivity and although indoor cameras, they can see clearly out the window so I can see who is at the door... And of course how the pets are doing when they are on their own.Set up is NOT easy as the use of pictures and minimal language to sell to most markets resulting in confusion but patience prevailed and although the first one took an hour and a bit to figure out... The second took less than half an hour.Setting up blank zones (so the TV didn't activate motion detection) and all the other bits took another few minutes but oh my word these were a great purchase.

Can’t use!!
Unable to connect to my internet, so no use for me. Plus, it says that you can use the 8 digit safety code, which is on the label, or inside box. It doesn’t exist!!

its almost there...
the quality, the response, the design...almost perfect and fits all yr needs as a doorbell/surveillance camera/antitheft....however....the YALE app is handy but not very ipad friendly, plus integration to my google home ecosystem is a mess. but otherwise its a very good standalone camera i hv ever tried.
