Q: Can you use this paint over trilux 33 af?

I am going to. It just needs something to stick to. I did my outdrive last year with trilux 33 AF spray. I primed with trilux primer and still have corrosion. So I’m priming the outdrive again and then using this. But an AF should adhere to another AF without issue. Hope this helps.

Q: Is it a bad idea to use a marine clear coat over this paint?

Good Afternoon, it is not recommended to use a clear coat over this product. You would lose the anti-fouling properties by doing so. Thank you.

Q: can this product be brushed, or does it have to be sprayed?

Not supposed to be sprayed but I thinned it with reducer and came out perfectly I will not have to paint again next season

Q: Can this be applied over zinc chromate primer?

I am not sure about zinc chromate. I apply it over Primacon primer. I like the total boat product better then trilux 33. The Primacon though is critical.
