Nostalgic, "Spirit of the bayonet!!! "
It seems like a pretty close replica (except for the color) of the M9(s) that I was issued as an Infantryman in the U.S. Army. It fits well on my civilian Colt M4 ***with a new lug adapter/extension on the rifle***. The snaps SHOULD be subdued (blackened). Sharp out of the box. Feels solid. Good mounted sharpening stone...FOR THE PRICE, a pretty functional bayonet.

Very Nice Bayonet - Highly Recommended
This M-9 style bayonet is much better quality than I expected and fits perfectly on the two AR-15 builds I tested it on. This is a seriously large knife and sheath combo that has a lot of features, including:Bayonet -+ Good Blade; came with a fairly good edge but honed razor sharp with minimal effort+ Saw Back; nice saw edge on spine+ Wire Cutter; when used in combination with the sheath, acts as a heavy duty wire cutterSheath -+ Solidly Built; this is a good quality sheath+ Includes whetstone; built into sheath and protected by strap with a snap on the back+ Removable Pouch; includes small Velcro secured pouch+ Quick Release; allows sheath to detach from belt for use as wire cutter (see above), etcMisc -- Protective coating comes off easily with wear (i.e. when used as wire cutters)- Stamped "Taiwan" on the bladeI am very pleased with this and a believe it is a good value.Highly Recommended! I also own the nearly identical Smith & Wesson SW2B Special Ops M-9 Bayonet Challenger Knife, Black, which came sharper and was a little less expensive.CFH

Perfect!
This was exactly what was received. Very good quality. Box it came in was a little rough, but it was in perfect shape.

It’s been great for years!
I’ve used this knife for about 5 years now and it’s held up very well. Other then paint scratches from wear and tear it has functioned as it should.

Shipped fast, Fits on my AR just fine. I had to work a little with my bushmaster but my other AR had no problems. The Blade is tough but the bluing on the blade rubs off on the pivot where the it connects to the sheath. I guess this is normal for it will be cutting wire.

Make sure it fits!
If you own a 16 inch barrel this will NOT NOT NIT NOT NOT FIT!!!!!!?! I not only own several ar-15s but friends with a owner of a gun store and not a single factory 16" barrel standard AR has this fit on correctly. YOU MUST PURCHASE AN ADAPTER OR HAVE A 14.5 BARREL

Cheap steal
If you want something for looks and minor cutting this knife is for you. However, if you plan to use it as a last effort on the end of a rifle or for major cutting- stay away!. You pay for what you get and from research and looking at the metal used to produced this blade, it is cheaply manufactured. do yourself a favor and spend the extra $30 for an ontario M9 bayonet.
