Chinkiang Vinegar

I fell in love with black vinegar after visiting a world-renowned Chinese dumpling restaurant. I have used Chinkiang Vinegar torecreate this restaurant's dipping sauce and must say it is good on almost anything. I was so happy to find a quick and easy resource for the very elusive black vinegar.

Both bottles arrived damaged and had leaked in their packaging.

I live in an area where finding any genuine ingredients for preparing ethnic dishes is difficult. I buy most of them here on Amazon. The Gold Plum Chinkiang Vinegar is one. With rich and subtle flavors, this dark brown rice vinegar tastes less acidic than western vinegars but not nearly as sweet as balsamic. and brings a delicate, interesting and distinct flavor. This black vinegar is my favorite. I had it served to me as a dipping sauce at a Dim Sum Restaurant. It's definitely a must have condiment I have used it as a dipping sauce , on rice, salads, cooked veggies , soups and dumplings. it's real Versatile .
