Much better quality than what I have found in local stores

Better than expected.

The main thing I like is that these straps (and their hooks) have held up better to the weather than some other "rubber" straps. Other similar straps have cracked badly during shorter periods of outdoor use; these have not (yet). I was concerned initially because the Amazon listing had stated these are made of EDPM rubber, but neither the actual package nor the straps themselves mentioned the EDPM - which I understood to be the more weather-resistant type.On the downside, these straps are only adjustable in increments of 6" or so. Some other adjustable straps are more finely adjustable in increments of 1"-2", making those more adjustable, and thus more versatile than these. However, those other straps also have been less durable than these.

This product works great. The fact it is adjustable really helps when you have variable distances to strap.

Normal bungee stretches quite a bit and has some initial give, these are have very little stretch and would have limited application compared to a normal bungee

Used to replace old worn out similar straps.

Used this to support a small branch on small spruce shrub, nothing stressing, just prop up the branch. Also doubled up the bungee to further reduce any possible extra load.re their claim of "The strap is constructed from ethylene propylene diene monomerthick [EPDM] synthetic rubber that will not wear thin or break with daily use or different climates."I suspect the solar deteriorated the strap, no wild or weird weather, just cool days with lots of sun -- perfect for the young trees, not so much for the bungee.At $2 per bungee, get something cheaper and more of them. Not recommended.

Seemed like a good purchase for the quantity. Completely fell apart exposed to sunlight. Used them for hanging shade sails . Very poor quality they should have lasted for years
