I do not put a whole lot of faith in product reviews...never know if they are written by real people. However, I took a leap of faith and purchased this Slate 8 cover based on many good reviews. I received EXACTLY what I wanted!! Mine is a black, leather grain cover. It fits the Slate perfectly (what I had expected) and has a light magnetic closure. Very good product!! Highly recommended.

Great protector
Bought it as a gift and my niece loved the color and the quality is great! For a 7 year old who drops her tablet a whole lot this case has done its job protecting it

Absolutely fine for intended purpose
The cover arrived very quickly the next day and absolutely as described. If you're looking for something that will protect against impact after a fall or drop this may not be for you. However, if you need a cover to protect against scratches, dust, etc. this will work fine. Personally, I wanted a cover that makes handling a slick, glass tablet easier and more secure which this serves well. I hadn't noticed in the description that the cover has a magnetic close which was a pleasant surprise.I've seen a few reviews complaining that the cutouts are not in the correct places. However I can validate they're perfect for the Sprint tablet for which the cover was designed.In all a good product which I'd recommend.

Good case for the money
The case came in a timely manner and looked just like it did in the pictures. It was easy to put on my Sprint Tablet and looked nice. It would have gotten 5 stars but it doesn't stay up when you flip the cover back as advertised which was a bummer for me because sometimes I like to use it to entertain my kids for a bit.

Reasonably price but poor material
This case protected my kids tablet from scratches but the tablet itsself shattered after it fell on my wood floor with the case on. I'm giving it 2 stars only because it was a good price other than that its poorly made and the material began ripping after just a few weeks. I guess you get what you pay for, right?
