excellent and useful for those times...
Sometimes you need to shoot tethered, and in those times, you gotta have one of these (really you should own two, one as a backup). Treat them well and you should have no issues.

The 16 feet seems shorter than expected, but this is my perception. Transfer speeds are quick and accurate.Product came in a nice sized box and protected well. Not the best, but good
I've used Tether Tools cables for a couple of years now, due to the fact that they corner the market on them. But now that Area 51 and others have come on to the scene with thicker, stronger cables I may not ever buy these again.They do work great, they just don't last that long compared to the thicker ones by other companies.

Perfect cable
Really really really confused about the negative reviews. I'm a commercial photographer shooting both still life and people with a D800. Cable works perfect. I combine this right angle cable with a tether block MC to keep the data port safe and it works amazingly well. I also use a booster cable from these guys to give myself some extra slack.I just bought 3 more of these cables right now because I noticed the contacts in the female end were jammed (my fault). Always good to have spares on hand!
