A good buy
First and foremost - we are not commercial painters. I am sure there will be TONS of reviews for this sprayer by true professionals so I will let them talk the "tech". I guess my contribution can be to speak to the weekend warriors or the "I have a big project" guys. With the COVID-19 pandemic in full spread, we had to empty out our office and let people work from home. So, we decided you should never let a good crisis for to waste. Having everyone out of the office made this the perfect time to re-fresh the office space with new paint and carpet. With no one to bother, we had the place to ourselves. Our space is about 12,000 sq ft of office space and 12,000 sq ft of warehouse space. I decided to hire a few of my son's (who is 16) friends and give them a good summer job. They started the project in mid May and ended (hopefully) the first week of August. So, this was a BIG project for us and we needed a lot of tools. We would have gone with a professional paint crew but I was worried about cost and figured we had the time to do it ourselves. We purchased a lot of equipment including this Titan sprayer after a lot of research and a budget that I wanted to be under $1000 (which I ended up spending a bit more - but close). We ended up using the Titan sprayer to spray enamel on doors - 47 of them. (both doors and frames). My son watched some YouTube videos of the Idaho Painter and figured out how to work the sprayer and after a bit of practice is now a dam good painter with it. He and his friends would prime areas one day then tape them off and spray enamel the next. The sprayer has had no issues and is quiet - I have been on conference calls while they were spraying in the hall. We ended up using a 4 wheel cart that we put the sprayer and paint (5 gallon buckets) on. It worked great for us. We were very glad we had the 50 ft hose - the length was needed way more than I thought it would be. The sprayer does make a mess - so you will need to put down a lot of drop cloths if you want to keep paint off of stuff. It also makes a mist so ventilation is key - the boys used respirators which were IMPOSSIBLE to find during the pandemic. We bought this kit version of the Sprayer and I am glad we did - we have used all of it. It was priced far better than any other offer we could find. It was delivered on time and we have been very please with it. We did end up buying a "better" gun handle. It has made a big difference (I think it is the FX - red handle model). The trigger is much softer and allows better volume control (vs just on / off). The clean-up is involved and with a 50 ft hose you end up wasting paint/primer - so this is not for quick "light" jobs. use your bottle-fed Wagner power painter - or something like that if you have a chair to paint (etc). But if you have a big job this is a workhorse - does not clog - and will deliver a very nice finish.

Good machine
No problems with equipment. The equipment works great as per manufacter intended. The problem was with the misleading picture of spray gun. I failed to read the full descriptions. The picture has a higher end gun.

Pictures of gun RX-Pro model gun are deceiving
We received the RX-80 gun that’s not quite as nice as the ad photos showing the red anodized RX-PRO. The RX-PRO has a lighter feel and is a nicer unit. Not pleased to be shown a better item than what’s included. Believe that’s called false advertising or bait and switch……Hence 4 stars.
