Installed in my 16 JKUR. easy install and now I can see what's behind me when I'm backing up. As a random guy on the internet I highly recommend using this to install a backup camera on your jeep.

This was perfect to get the best angle for my backup camera on my Wrangler! Very easy to set up and adjust.

The first one I installed stopped working after 2 years. They don’t offer a camera only as a replacement part (they all look slightly different) so I bought a whole new set. I had checked the cables and connections but only a new camera fixed the issues.I like the picture but hate that it only worked 2 years - which I could almost accept if only they offered a cheaper camera only replacement. Now I have a whole box to send to the land fill!The camera is installed on my garage kept 2009 jeep wrangler which I use less than 1500 miles a year. So it’s not ‘wear and tear’.Update:The seller contacted me and explained their 2 year replacement warranty. The camera was a little over 2 years and thus I felt it inappropriate to accept a warranty replacement. I encouraged the seller to offer camera only replacements for purchase. Overall I will do business with this seller again

Just got this backup camera installed. Camera quality is a little fuzzy but does the job. Fit perfectly in the spare tire carrier. I wired it direct to the ignition switch and it comes on as soon as I go to reverse. I can’t speak to the longevity but would recommend it if you need one that can be tailored to your wheel.

Installation was straight forward with the wiring. No issues there. I tapped into the grey and white wire on my taillight. My only issue was the installation of the bracket. I have a 3rd brake light ring mounted already behind my spare. Adding this bracket was a pain. If you are running a ring brake light as well I would recommend drilling a hole through the bracket and putting in a bolt to keep it still while juggling your spare tire back on. I run 33s on 17s. The adjustable feature is very nice due to how my rim is set up.Camera quality is to be expected. It’s not perfect. I had a 20 dollar camera that had better picture BUT it still does the job for what is needed. I am unaware of the longevity of the product due to just installing it. I love the fact they give you plenty of wire to work with.

Worked perfect and fit just right

I ordered this in September and installed it in November 2024. It stopped working properly by the middle of March. At first the image had lines streaking through it but I could still if there was something behind me. It continually got worse until the image went black. The JVC aftermarket radio recognizes that there is a signal, but it is just displaying a black screen. I connected my front facing camera at the rear of the car using the same wires that I installed for the rear camera and I got a video signal confirming my suspicion that the camera had died. For safety reasons I definitely install another back up camera, but probably not this brand. I had high hopes as the camera is well protected by the spare tire. Maybe it was the harsh New England weather. Cheers!!!
