Great coconut flavor without the sugar. Many uses.
Pictures I posted are the 15gm serving (100cal, ~1\4 cup). This product is dry, not moist nor as pliable as the sweetened flake kind you can get at the grocery store. Neither is so dry or brittle that it breaks when handled. This product suits my needs for dieting, and is an elegant cake topping, adds structure to softer cakes, bars, cookies and candies, and is a nice garnish for fruit appetizers and desserts. I would buy it again.

Very dry; flakes are larger than other brand
My usual brand of unsweetened coconut (Yupik) was out of stock so I took a chance on this. Not nearly as good -- I won't buy it again. Too dry. Not very flavorful. Flakes are too large.Also contains preservatives; not sure that's needed for dried coconut.

A quality long cut shredded coconut
Wanted to use this for coconut macaroon cookies but the coconut is very very dry, almost to the point of being dehydrated.Using this coconut would just end in a bad result.Very disappointedDo not purchase.
