I’m using this in the ice bin in my freezer. I was previously using a plastic one, but started noticing tiny plastic shavings in the ice so I switched to this. I love it. It’s shiny and beautiful. It’s the perfect size to put a generous scoop of ice in a glass. It’s strong enough to separate ice cubes that are stuck together (which I think is how the plastic one got shavings in the ice). I leave it in the ice with the handle sticking up to be sanitary and I was worried that frost on the handle would stick to my hand, but there is little frost and that hasn’t been an issue. Very happy with this purchase.

Purchased a 12 oz for ice, was too big, using it for dog food scoop now and replaced with this one. Size is perfect for my cubes and glasses. Serves it's purpose perfectly, nice looking, sturdy, seems well made.

Nice size for scooping ice from a bin, sturdy, reasonable price, but within 2 years it began to rust. I kept it in the ice maker's bin in my refrigerator's freezer compartment for convenience, which no doubt led to the rusting problem.
