So my PS4 controller had recently suffered from me being an idiot and not being careful when extracting the usb lead out of it causing pins to bend/snap.The new part works perfectly, just ensure that your controller uses this type and not a different form as they vary.

Replaced my OG ps4 dualshock controller jd-030 charging port. This is the second time I have done this now (different product same model number), must be a fault with the original controller design as the new charging port I installed a couple of years ago was rusty as was the factory stock part before that so somehow moisture must be getting into the controller. But I digress.Easy to replace and a quick charging fix job for anyone competent with using a screwdriver and who is able to be a bit careful when swapping out parts. Just watch as you take the case off as you do not want the spring on one of the triggers to come loose because that is a pita to get back on, especially if you drop the spring (speaking from my experience a couple of years ago).Speaking of screwdrivers everyone on the reviews here is complaining about the screwdriver supplied not fitting the screws of the controller. Not sure what that is all about as the screwdriver supplied fit perfectly in both the controller case screws and the screw holding the pcb of the charging port down. Perhaps they have newer models of controller or they are in reference to different model makes, I am not sure. The screwdriver head is very tiny though so I'm not sure exactly of a crosshead screw that could be any smaller than the head on the driver provided! Screwdriver also comes with a nice spinny head on it so no arduous twisting.All in all I ordered prime next day delivery in good time but the item was not dispatched until two days after (ordered friday eve ~4pm, dispatched sunday morning, arrived sunday 7pm) so wasn't best impressed. I'm guessing the product seller must have been having a saturday off!Cheers

So good to just plug in and it charges again. Note the screwdriver provided was too big for my screws. Eitherway the new charging port was easy to swap out and works completely fine. It sits a little further back than the original but that made no difference to the functionality.

Well packaged.doest look cheap. Only negative is the screwdriver supplies doesn't fit screws.

Great product, description made it so easy to match what I was looking for. Arrived exactly by due date.

I had the dreaded "controller won't charge" problem, even after trying several leads (and confirming that they worked on a different controller). Blew out the port (just like a Nintendo cartridge) but no go. Bought one of these and fitted it in around 5 minutes, most of which was prising the case apart.I used the original cable in the controller as it was pre-bent. Everything went smoothly and my controller is now sat on my desk pulsing its welcoming green charge light.Other reviews have said that their controller got hot and died after fitting this. If you're worried about this happening to you, don't put the case back together before trying it out - easier to rip out the new board if needs be.

Works as advertised fits a PS4 controller and connector is compatible with PS4 PCB board. A quick Note it's very easy to hook up the ribbon cable backwards due to Sony's Design so be aware of that.

It was exactly what I needed

This charging port does exactly what it says it's supposed to do, charge. That's all I personally cared about. The only issue I have is cosmetic, which I'm ok with aftermarket parts.My problem is the light itself on the board is different measurements. It's literally 1/2 to 1/3 the amount of the plastic light bar inside the controller. I would imagine that would show less consistent light power (like the picture provided.) Both controllers are turned to bright (standard) and the repaired controller looks closer to dim. Not a major issue. If you want extremely dim lighting for battery reservation, this could be a selling point.
