The only permanent type tire repair string - easy to use and they work!
We've tried many of the repair strings over the past 50 years in business, but most are not a permanent repair. This type is permanent and they work - but MUST have a CLOSED EYE tire repair needle to use these tire repair stringsA tire accessory salesperson demonstrated this type of repair string to me 30 years ago when he drove up, turned the LF tire on his Cadillac sharp left and then drilled a 1/8" hole in this tire while I watched. He used one of these type of strings to repair the hole and had it fixed before it even lost 10 psi of pressure. Then he showed me a previous tire he had used for demonstration purposes and dismounted it. It had literally over 100 patch strings in this tire and the tire on the car had dozens of strings in it.The butyl rubber bonds with heat to the rubber in the tire, and if you push it all the way in, then rotate the CLOSED eye tool at lease 2 revolutions, pull it out just far enough to cut the string at the eye of the repair needle, and then pull the tire repair needle completely out, these patches are permanent and prevent water from rusting out the steel belts of the tire.
