Exactly what I ordered
Had no problem pulling out the original mem and installing two for maximum memory in the computer. They've been working for a couple of weeks now and significantly improved system performance.

Simple way to improve speed of an older computer
I bought this item for use in a six year old HP desktop computer which came with 2x 4GB memory modules. The new modules are the exact same brand and type, except they are 8 GB each. They are totally compatible, and installation was a breeze. They easily plugged into the 2 available expansion slots bringing the total memory of my computer to 24GB. I immediately noticed an improvement in the overall speed of the computer.

It even passed a day's worth of mem testing.Windows 10 now needs 16gb of ram to run well and well, there you go. 16 GB of ram for older workstations.
