My old dashcam I had (Mini 0826) finally died i was looking for another discrete dashcam to replace it. A lot of the big brand cameras seem to have style elements on the front such as silver trim or lines which makes the camera stand out or only mount by suction cup. I prefer a more discrete hard to see from outside look and this camera tucks up out the way behind the mirror so not easily obvious is there.I wanted a good balance of recording time and quality so went for the Plus model with 1440p recording quality rather than the 4k version. The quality is adequate enough to show details such as number plates. The buttons are easy to use and the wireless connection to app allows easy setup of all options rather than using the on-camera controls. You can easily copy pictures and videos to your phone via this wireless connection, though you do have to stop recording if you want to use the app's functions.It fits to the windscreen via a base plate via a very sticky pad and the camera itself is very easy to remove, just unclips and slides sideways. The supplied cable is long enough to reach my charge/USB ports which are in my centre console between the seats.Video quality is good and night picture is good if you set it up right. When I first setup the camera I set it as 1440P 60fps mode for smooth video, but alas this creates a huge mess of low light graininess at night. Setting the camera to 30fps removes this as the slower shutter speed means more light hits the sensor for each frame, and the quality is great using this setting, it is a shame that the camera does not auto switch to 30fps in low light so you can have the best of both worlds, smooth video during day and clear night video.I do recommend getting the optional CPL filter (I also had this on old dashcam) if your dashboard design means it is reflected onto the windscreen, as it removes most of the reflection from the dashboard from being picked up on camera.

I bought this to replace an identical A129 that went on the blink. They're an excellent camera and handy that I could just plug in the new one straight out of the box without installation. I pondered the next model up but from my experience the A129 resolution is more than adequate.

Nice and neat and you wouldn’t know it is there unless it was pointed out. Easy to install too.

Good camera, good picture.

This is a swap for an earlier lesser quality model. It is small, neat and excellent quality. I have struggled to hide the wiring though on my car, although I know it is much easier on many models of car. You will need to get yourself a data card as this was not included. Quality of camera is excellent and much better than my previous model.

I found it a bit difficult to set up in the first place. It would have been easier if I could have set it up using my PC rather than sitting in the car. The short lead did not automatically invoke the files as it is claimed. I am not sure how I am going to remove the camera from the windscreen when I need to replace it as it is stuck on as opposed to a suction pad and I cannot therefore take the camera off the windscreen to view the footage, instead I have to remove the micro SD card which I could easily drop. I bought the camera because of the reviews. The timer is set automatically to BMT and does not change for BST. Time will tell if I ever need to provide evidence regarding picture quality etc.
