Q: Will it fit weber performance charcoal grill?

As long as it's 22" you're good. Also I you want it to get hot you'll need lump charcoal and wood. A lot of it... I usually do one full chimney starter and 6-7 large lumps of wood. I also use a pizza stone and measure surface temp of stone with infrared temp gun. Good luck.
