WORKS GREAT AT REDUCING HEAT BUILD UP INSIDE. I PUT ON MY FRONT WINDSHIELD ONLY SLIGHTLY REDUCED VISIBILTY, DON'T EVEN KNOW IT'S THERE EVEN AT NIGHT.

Use a lot of water with a dash of Dawn!
I used it on my home windows, it was enough to do 3 windows 34" wide x 72" but because I had to cut it for the top window then another piece for the bottom window six times. The first piece turned out to be the worst and the sixth piece was the best lol. The first one I cut to match the window and because it was super hot outside the water on the window was drying before I could get the film separated, so I kept having to wet the window. The most difficult part was getting the film to separate and I wish I would've had a helper but I did it alone. The film when you are pulling the back off it will want to stick to itself and when that happens just use a water bottle with the soapy solution and spray it alot as you pull the back off or even in the area where it gets stuck on itself. I advice not cutting it to fit before hand but rather keep an extra inch on all sides and use an exacto knife and trim it after you get it flat on the window (I used a wide squeegee made for this purpose that I bought separately) By the time I got to the last window I figured out how to get the film off the back by using electrical tape lol (I am not one to read all the directions which suggests using tape) and I also began putting water on the back as I took the film off and then put it on the window vs pulling it off from under it while trying to put it on the window as I did the first time and found out real quick it was too difficult. Also the tape came in handy to hold the film on the corner of the window while I smooth it out.

Works!
This ceramic film works. I'm not getting paid or asked to do this review just doing it because reviews help me when I purchase. These are my pictures from the tests I did. I will be updating with some new pictures when I can find a day with same temp as my no film picture. As you can see it was 90 degrees outside when I took the after picture at the same time of day which happened to be the following day just that it was 15 degrees hotter. Even with that, you can see that the film brought the temperature on the window sill way down and would be even lower if it was only 75 degrees out. I saw another post on here that said the film didn't work because they took the temp of the window and it was hotter, however, that shows the film is working because it is containing the radiant heat in the ceramic particles in the film and not letting them go through the window to the inside of your house. My experiment shows the window sill does not heat up as much as without film, proving that it works at keeping the radiant heat from transferring inside your home. As far as installing it. Its a pain and my work does not look super professional at all but it does the job. I will post more pics later and hope this helps someone.

DOES NOT BLOCK 99% OF UV RAYS
I bought this film for several windows in my RV. I have a family member who is a melanoma survivor, so blocking UV rays is very important. I have paid many hundreds of dollars to get all of my vehicles professionally tinted with true 99% UV blocking film, but it did not make sense to go this route for my RV. I decided to try this film since it was marketed as nano-ceramic (same as the expensive professional film) and claimed to block 99% of UV rays. The film blocks maybe 50% of UV rays. The included pics show my comparison with a professional broad spectrum UV sensing card, look up the card brand if you don't trust me. The darker the purple, the more intense the UV rays. The first pic is in my garage, the second is under the film outside, and the last is outside with no film. It is a shame that sellers get to make claims like this, and they get away with it because most people don't have the resources to actually test the claims.

Residential Use
I decided to use this on my home windows. It reflects heat well and doesn't cause the window to retain heat and crack. I've applied it to most of my house at this point and it's 5-10 degrees cooler in the summer
