Purchased renewed item and happy to share that using it from last 2+ years

This is my second mag254! Just got this new kit a few hours ago. Only took a minute to hookup. Of course I have a good service and this chic knows what to do :) so that helps!Suprisingly HDMI cable is really good quality! (a little short at 6ft but I made it work). I bought this one cause I knew it was a true Infomir wifi adapter and it works a lot better than my generic one. Since this one is my bedroom unit and far away from my cable modem, my other one works on wifi but not as good so I switched it over to wired since I am right by the box.

works great most of the time. sometimes it stops receiving signal maybe due to internet signal. Anyway, it's worth the money you spend.

I had low expectations when I ordered this device, but I am still surprised that I could be more disappointed. I ordered this device based on a recommendation -- and the geek in me wanted to experiment with what this model offers.The MAG 254 is at the lowest end of any Android box I've experienced, and even the Amazon price is ridiculous for what you get. For $30 to $40 more, you can purchase a more capable set-top box with downloadable Apps and a more user-friendly interface.Out of the box, the item looks smart, although underwhelming. Plug-in and connections were easy. Where users will be very disappointed is the user unfriendly interface and lack of features. This box appears designed for a very specific European market.No KODI, no Netflix which is puzzling considering that most consumers want a single, multi-media, cross-platform device that can access their media of choice - whatever their preference.The MAG 254 falls far short of expectations, especially when compared to the Minix of Nvidia product options.My advice - skip this model until MAG produce a device with the consumer in mind.

So far so goog....but this box did not come with wireless as stated. Make sure before you buy it. That's the only reason I gave it 3 stars.

It worked as well as the first one I had that lasted me one year.

It doesn't work.All iptv channels servers locate in europe or canda and works very slow or freeze channels. returned it.
