Modern look, very sturdy & works with my phone!
Exactly what I was expecting! We have been looking for a modern fan with a clear light and it’s been hard to find until now! Look no further, it’s worth every dollar! The instructions were clear, all parts were there and it was easy to install. We bought 3 fans, (1)-42” & (2)- 52”. We decided we wanted a bigger fan after installing the 42” so we reached out to the Manufacturer and they said we would have to purchase another receiver and blades. (I asked if we could just purchase the blades alone). When we started to install the 52” we thought maybe we could just swap the blades but the holes for the blades to go through are too small (they are made for the 42”) so you really have to swap the whole fan (which we ended up doing). We also received a desk fan that was a free promo they have going on & it was WAY more quality & style than what I was expecting. Very surprised & happy with our purchase not only from ordering but the Customer Service from the manufacturer.Posting pics from the 3 rooms we installed so they have different ceiling heights in the photos. I will note that it takes a minute for the fan/light to turn on from the switch but not something that is really a bother. This does come with a remote and you can adjust the brightness of the light & the speed of the fan from the remote.BONUS: Since this is a smart fan you can download the app and set the light/fan to turn on at a certain time which is nice. Program it to turn on every night at 10 pm and you don’t have to worry about turning it on or off when going to bed!Would highly recommend to anyone!

This fan has looks AND brains!
The media could not be loaded. I have had this fan for a few weeks and to this point I am very satisfied. I bought it to replace a Hunter fan that was still working after nearly 15 years - but its buzzing AC motor was driving me crazy.Pros:- absolutely silent DC motor- moves lots of air- clean, modern and compact canopy, motor housing and luminaire- bright light with very good dispersion- nice looking and highly functional wall control- ABS blades look better than expected and should hold up well in my humid location- iOS app is decent, responsive and seems to be actively developedBonus:- if you are tech savvy, local control with iOS Home app is possible via homebridgeCons:- since the canopy is compact, getting the receiver wires tucked in during installation was tricky- i had some network related setup issues with the iOS app but YMMV- not inexpensive (but the wall control almost makes up for it)Bottom line:Worth the extra $$ if you plan to use the smart features and prefer a sleek wall control over a clunky remote like you get with many DC motor ceiling fans.

Nice looking fan with smart features
I bought two of these fans for a new home. One black, one white. One was mounted using the included down rod. The other was in a room with a vaulted ceiling and mounted using an 18-in downrod. The fan on the longer down rod required some extra weights to balance but we ultimately got it to spin true. The manufacturer was helpful with us addressing the balancing issue and even sent a replacement fan that we ended up not needing. The app works well to control the fans and it's nice to have integration with smart assistants and not need a separate hub. The fan is quiet and seems energy efficient based on the label on the box. The light is very adjustable as far as brightness but the color temperature cannot be adjusted.

Almost perfect. See update at end of review.
Bought this to replace a 20 year old hunter fan. My requirements were for a modern looking fan, with bright LED lighting, quiet operation, smart features (amazon echo integration), and a wall switch. This fan checked off every single one of those criteria. It took me about 4 hours to install, because I’d never installed a ceiling fan before, and had trouble uninstalling the old Hunter fan, because I didn’t know the model and had trouble finding an online manual. It was so old, that none of the hunter YouTube videos applied. Once I got it removed, I found that the 2.5” wide ceiling box was too narrow for this new fan’s mounting bracket, so I had to run to the hardware store to buy a new 4” ceiling fan box, and then had to cut a larger drywall circle to accommodate it. Once this was done, the rest of the installation was pretty straightforward, except that the wires and safety wire that come with the fan are probably 6’ long, so I ended up having to cut them to get everything to fit inside the canopy cover. Because my ceiling fan box was only 0.5” deep, it didn’t have enough room to store the excess wire. I also found one of the motor wires was mislabeled, but it was pretty obvious; someone not familiar with basic electrical wiring, however, could have run into a problem with that. Once everything was hooked up, I powered it up and it silently came to life. The motor does this sort of stuttered start, which I’ve learned is normal, since I bought a second fan from modern forms and it does the same thing. Not a big deal. It’s silent and the only thing you hear is the movement of air. And this fan really moves a lot of air! The other fan I bought is a 3 blade fan, and it moves a lot less, in comparison to this 5 blade fan.As for the light, it’s great. Quite bright, and a very pleasing 3000k. The other fan I bought is 2700k, and just a tad warmer (yellower). I prefer this one. I also like the clear acrylic light cover on this one, which seems to let more light out than the frosted cover on the other. This light easily fills the bedroom it’s installed in.The app and Alexa integration work perfectly for me. I’ve created a routine in my amazon Alexa app, that allows me to turn both the fan and light on simultaneously, with one command, which is nice, since the wall switch requires you to turn them on separately.Regarding the wall switch, it’s probably the weakest part of this kit. It’s not lit, so you can’t see it in the dark (how hard would it have been to put some leds in it?), and as previously mentioned, you have to turn the light and the fan on and off separately. It also would be nice if it beeped when turning the light on and off, so you know you’ve pressed the button. The fan speed buttons beep, so why couldn’t all the buttons do the same? That said, it’s still nice having an RF wall switch come with the fan, so these are minor nit picks.Overall, a great fan. Not perfect, but pretty darn close. I’ll round this one up to 5 stars!Update 11/14/2021: my original modern form fans are still working fine, but I just bought another one, and a couple of things have changed that are making me knock off a star. First, they’ve changed the instruction manual, and the new manual is horrible. I feel sorry for anyone who is starting from scratch with the new manual, which has you install the fan blades before hanging the fan, which would make doing the wiring extremely difficult. Fortunately, I still remembered the order from the earlier manual, and added the blades and light unit after everything was wired up. Second, the new fan has a weird jutter when it starts up, that kind of looks cheap. It only lasts a second, and then it operates smoothly and silently, but none of my other fans do this. Third, they used to include the Bluetooth wall switch, but they’ve replaced it with a Bluetooth remote control. This has some pluses and minuses; on the plus side, the remote is more responsive than the wall units, requiring only one push to turn on and off, whereas the wall unit requires 2 pushes for some reason. It also has a green led that tells you when you’ve pushed the button, which is a nice feedback feature that the wall unit lacks. On the downside, since you don’t need to replace the old wall switch from your previous light fixture, you can turn the fan/light on and off with the wall switch, and it remembers the last state the unit was in, BUT, there is a 6-8 second delay before anything happens, which is super annoying. Imagine entering a dark room, flipping the switch and having to wait that long for the light to turn on! So you’re kind of stuck using the remote, or the phone app (which is even slower), or a smart home device like an Amazon echo. At least you have options.Anyway, these are still great fans, but for the price, they could use better instructions, and throw in both a wall control unit and remote.

great fan
This is my second time purchasing this fan, I put one up in my old home and decided to add them again to my new home. Pretty normal set up time for wi-fi fans. but looks great and is really quite. The wall switch is an added bonus to the wireless remote. The app doesn't always work right and that might be the only downside, Customer service was great when I had questions about a switch turning on more than one fan when it wasn't supposed to and their instructions worked easily to fix the problem.
