Stovetop Smoker - The Original Camerons Gourmet Mini Stainless Steel Smoker with Wood Chips - Works over any heat source, indoor or outdoor

I took a cooking class from Johnny Vee in Santa Fe. During the class he used this tiny smoker in one of his recipes, which turned out to be astoundingly delicious. I knew I wanted to get one but they were out at the store. I looked on Amazon and sure enough I found one.It is so easy to use and surprisingly effective. It only takes about 8 to 10 minutes to smoke a steak, fish, chicken, lamb, pork or whatever you want. The smoky flavor is actually deeper than the smoke we obtain from our big Traeger smoker during the summer where something might smoke as much is 14 hours. THAT is remarkable.I am so glad I purchased this. It's easy to use. In the winter months it gives us a taste of summer with no muss and fuss.I use different woods depending on what I need to smoke. I quite love all of them.

I received it 24 hours before it was supposed to arrive. :-). Yesterday I used it to smoke some salmon filets. Because there isn't a lot of room with the lid on, we had to tent it with tin foil instead. It worked well. :-) Because the salmon was still frozen in the middle, when I took them out they were still raw in the middle. I'll put it into the pan for dinner. :-)

燻製器として購入しましたが、現在はパスタ用の鍋に変わりました。市販のパスタがスッポリ入って茹でる際のお湯の量が少なくて済むので重宝してます。邪道ですが、こちらの使い方もオススメですよ。

I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but it's a nice little smoker and the lid fits really well.

スモークは好きだけど買うと高いので....と言ってたところ、知人から「安くて自宅でやっても煙はあまり出ないから作ったらいいよ」と勧められてミニのほうを購入。台所でスモークしましたが、レンジファン回していれば特に問題はありませんでした。ただ自宅台所のガスコンロでは過熱センサが動いてしまい長時間加熱ができませんでした。（本品はカセットコンロで使用したほうがいいのでしょうかね？）チップの消費も僅かで、チーズや一度茹でておいたウインナーのスモーク程度であれば中火5分程度でOKと、かなり使える品です。お気に入りは冷凍カキを軽く茹でておいてからのスモークで、チーズ共々赤ワインの重たいのがイイ感じで楽しめました。　欠点は他の方のレビューにもありましたが、深さが足りないことでしょうか。ゆで卵丸ごとはちょっと厳しい高さですし、かたまり肉も大き目なのは入りません。私の場合は台所ガスコンロ側の要因で長時間加熱できない都合上、肉も小さくしているため大きな問題ではない(ゆで卵も半割ｗ）のですが、野外でばっちりやりたいならミニではなくもっと深いサイズのものがいいかもです。あと半分アウトドア向けだってことなのか安いからかはわかりませんがバリが取れてない部分が少しあったりして、全体的に作りが甘いです。（値段考えると仕方ない気もします。）　他の方が重いとのレビューもございましたが、ミニだからかオッサンだからかあまり気になりませんでした。台所スモーク入門機として、お手頃で良い品と思います。
