Anolon Advanced Home Hard-Anodized Nonstick Skillets (12.75-Inch, Onyx)

This is an amazing skillet. Ont only it is non-stick but it washes easily and is a pleasure to use. I love it.

This pan is larger than I expected... it fits 4 burger patties and then some on it! It is great.. I got this to replace an identical (but 11", smaller) one that was many years old and scratched up. This has the great heat-proof handles and it can go into the oven! so easy.

This is a replacement for the same pan that is worn out after 8 years. Used almost every day, sometimes more than once. Highly recommended.

I was beguiled by the "lifetime warranty" claim. If you read the instructions, you find "Using low to medium heat can preserve the exterior and Interior non-stick coating". The lifetime is good for the lifetime of the product (unspecified), whatever that may be. The warranty specifically excludes wear and tear. There are specific instructions to remove any stuck food using a boiling vinegar solution. There are warnings that non-stick spray and all but minimal use of cooking fat will mar the non-stick. In other words, if you treat it nicely it'll last longer. All the warranty really covers is manufacturing defects. From the verbiage on the package you'd think it's bullet proof. I don't see myself adjusting cooking techniques to take care of the pan. And, really, I may be the only person ever to read the instructions that came with a frying pan.All that said, alternatives pans may be at least as sensitive or even more so. Our last Anolon pan lasted about 2 years. This may be a very good pan, but it's far from bullet-proof.

This is the fryer you want; nothing sticks to it; it cleans up easy; it's heavy but its an excellent investment
