This stuff is amazing!
This is not so expensive when you factor out that you only mix one tablespoon per gallon.I have used this company's product for years, and it is absolutely AMAZING how well it helped everything to grow.It grew grass where grass would hardly grow because there was almost no nutrients in the soil since we cut off the top of a hill to build the house. Also it was clay soil! After adding this, the ground cover began to grow very well.I began to use it on everything: Ornamentals, vegetables, trees, everything! It is especially good for transplanting things. My expert gardener friend warned me that certain plants would not transplant well. I transplanted them anyway using this product, and the transplants were successful.I am a huge fan of this product based on the years I have used it and the results I have seen. I had a huge property and planted thousands of plants over several years and saw the results that this gives on a variety of plants and trees.Tip: buy the gallon size. It is half price of the quart size when you multiply it out!I am not given any compensation whatsoever for this review. This is a product I believe in and it is well worth the money. You can buy the quart size to start, and once you see the results, next time by the gallon size!

This works very well!
I used this in the garden and around the chicken coop. In the garden for helping to build the soil and around the chicken coop for odor. IT works incredibly well for both of these tasks - verdant garden growth, regrowth of grass, and no odor in the ground. Plants that were in pots and slow growing burst into life. IT is a fantastic product. But a warning. Three times amazon has shipped me bottles that were expiring within a month. It took hours of chatting with them to try and get it resolved, which was incredibly disappointing - including them telling me to discard the expiring bottle and then them rebilling it to me because they didn't note that it was to be discarded. I still feel very frustrated and slighted by Amazon. I still haven't gotten a second bottle because of this mishap because I'm kinda convinced they will send me an expiring product.

Great product
Best microbes for my 2 year old living soil beds. I rarely have to use as long as I’m caring for cover crop and maintaining moisture levels. Buildasoil Rocks as well ❤️🔥

Wonderful for so MANY uses
i have been using EM1 for six years now and tell everyone about its many uses. Currently my nonprofit is using it for experimental hydroponics systems being developed at Arizona State University in the EPICS student engineering program. At home I tested it first on houseplants to produce LOTS more blooms than before, small scale food gardening in soil, making bokashi with it and using that in composting kitchen garbage for the food garden, and spraying it on my heirloom tomato plants to get rid of white flies (too acidic for them to lay eggs). I even used it to help a 5th grade student grow a comparison garden to win a blue ribbon in her science fair project showing how much it helped grow plants bigger and produce more than the control group of same food plants. After reading "An Earth Saving Revolution" by Dr. Teruo Higa who developed it, I now tell others about its uses around the world. I'm now going to explore regenerating deserts by softening the rock hard soil here in Arizona and other desert locations to develop swales and grow food forests. After testing it in multiple uses I highly recommend it. It can be shared with others by using the freely available recipe shown on YouTube to stretch it by very simply fermenting with blackstrap molasses and water.

Great in my Nutritional Spray for my Home Orchard
Seems to work very well. I discovered this product when reading The Holistic Orchard, by Michael Philips. I make 1 gallon of activated EMs using 3/4 cup of this bottle, 3/4 cup molasses, and 2.5 tbs fulvic acid (for shelf life) and 110 deg water per the instructions on their website. 1 quart of EM1 lasts me 1 year for my 1/10 acre orchard. I spray almost every edible with this mixed in Philip’s Nutritional spray (neem, fish hydrolysate, seaweed extract, Comfrey tea, etc. plus some Epsom salt), after insuring I’ve saturated my fruit trees. It takes me about an hour, every 10-14 days in the spring to mix and spray. But it is worth it to me to have organic and fungicide free food for my family and friends. The last bottle said it expired Oct 2018, but was still fresh with a PH around 3 in Apr 2019.

Seedlings seem to love it!
I combine this with a liquid fertilizer (Seedlinger's), 1 Tablespoon of each in 4 cups of water, and all my seedlings seem to love it. I just wish it were less expensive and did not expire so soon. I will use the remainder of my bottle for plants outside, even though the bottle will be past the expiration date by then. As I recall, expiration gave me about 6 months to use, but I bought it in the winter before my starts needed it, not realizing the shelf life would be so short.
