Great trap. Easy to set and great for juvenile rats. I use them outside and have made wooden tunnels to house them. I baited mine with a chocolate "Munchie" sweet on the trigger and a bit of breakfast cereal around the trap. I caught a single juvenile 3 days ago and yesterday I hit the jackpot 2 young rats that had tried to take the bait from either end of the tunnel both clean kills. The traps sit sideways in the tunnels allowing approach from either end.

Very happy, they arrived yesterday and last night it caught the first of two rats that have started coming to our chicken run.We watched YouTube videos of how to bait it, we put a piece of chocolate energy bar under the trigger and oats to fill in around it, as you can see it ate the oats and then went in for the chocolate bar!

I could not believe it, but less than 15 minutes after setting the trap in daylight, I heard it go off while working in the garden. Confirmed kill. Needless to say, these traps are 100% recommended. Very heavy duty for catching large rats. I used chocolate and oats as bait. 10/10!

More expensive than others, yes, but I caught four rats in this in two days using liquorice allsorts.It is of a robust build, with a very strong spring, this unit is reusable many many times, very good build quality.I have no quarms at all in recommending this 👍

Very difficult to set and click into place , Traps snap very fast and hard, watch your fingers😳

I have a huge cellar kitchen that needs upgrading and every few months a rat finds its way in and seems to have fun. I tried a few other things like poison and smaller traps with no luck. The first weekend I set this trap up it caught a massive rat. A few months later it sorted another on the first night it entered. The trap itself is a bit scary you need to be really careful setting it up as it's really powerful. I used a wine gum on the spike and weetabix in the tray.

This is a ridiculously stiff trap that only activates if you hit it with a rock! I’ve never seen a rat as big or as heavy as the one that would set off this tap. I fail to see how it can be classed as a trap for an animal so small and light as the average rat. A massive disappointment. Don’t waste your money. My two less expensive traps actually work!

Wow. Set these up soon as they arrived , had ordinary traps down a while no results. But these were down for less than 8 hours and one trap killed two large rats.
